Lol I knew this would happen. No I don't have link. I saw it on the news. Congestion pricing is a whole hot mess, and cameras aren't even locations that practically make sense. The pricing should apply to any entry in Manhattan, plain and simple. And low income people should get waivers if they live in Manhattan, though they likely don't even have cars.
New Yorkers are obscuring their license plates

It's just a money grab. This congestion pricing nonsense is in effect 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It should only be in effect Monday through Friday 7 am to 7pm.

Take off the front plate and splatter some mud on the rear plate. Sharpie marker will do a good job of altering the symbols. I got pulled over for funny plate and no front one, once in 45 years. Saved me a bundle.

$9 isnt deterrent for those who only go in some times, but it may change the habits of those who drive in daily

Horrific crimes on the subway should be a deterrent that keeps everyone off of public transportation, but that hasn’t happened, so maybe people aren’t making rational decisions.
