The most handsome actors, every year from 1930-2024

They're all good looking, but the standouts to me are:

Errol Flynn

Montgomery Clift

Rock Hudson

Steve McQueen

Richard Chamberlain

Clint Eastwood

Don Johnson

Tom Cruise

Johnny Depp

Brad Pitt

Ryan Gosling

Chris Hemsworth

I'm not doing by decade since I'm feeling lazy so:

Cary Grant

Brad Pitt

Burt Lancaster, not my type but he had "it"

Liam Neeson

Marlon Brando

Don Johnson but no Paul Newman?

by Anonymousreply 2January 8, 2025 5:47 AM

Harry Fucking Styles?

And while a lot of the actors listed are great, I wouldn't have considered them especially handsome. Richard Mitchem? Bogart? Charismatic as hell and sexy too, but in no way good looking. Stallone had an amazing body but I would not call him handsome otherwise.

Only three black guys and none of them was the late Chadwick Boseman.

Some I would have swapped years. Pacino grew into his looks and was his best in the late 90s. RDJ looks great even now, but was truly beautiful in the late 80s. De Niro peaked with Taxi Driver, and even then I suspect he's an acquired taste.

Danny DeVito

R2 Paul Newman was shown for the year 1956.

by Anonymousreply 5January 8, 2025 5:53 AM

Dudley Moore

[quote] Harry Fucking Styles?

They seemed to have lost their way from 2015, onwards.

Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Austin Butler, and Paul Mescal are by no means "the most handsome" actors of their era.

by Anonymousreply 8January 8, 2025 5:56 AM

by Anonymousreply 10January 8, 2025 6:06 AM

Harry Belafonte every decade until the 80s

by Anonymousreply 14January 8, 2025 8:00 AM

Male actors were so much better looking back in the early days of Hollywood.

And more natural looking.

R14, he was gorgeous and aged really well

Cesar Romero also aged really well

by Anonymousreply 16January 8, 2025 5:57 PM

Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire, pants down.

by Anonymousreply 17January 8, 2025 6:27 PM

Sidney Poitier, Clark Gable, Gary Cooper, Jeff Bridges.

by Anonymousreply 18January 8, 2025 6:28 PM

Any list that does not include Tyrone Power is worthless.

by Anonymousreply 20January 8, 2025 9:51 PM
