I'd like that to happen to me. I stopped buying lottery tickets years ago but maybe I'll just try my luck soon. If you don't play, you can't win.

The most I ever won on a scratch-off card was $100, but it was a $20 card.

Don’t most lottery winners end up dead in six years? Or something to that effect.

Only the ones who win big amounts, R3.
Like in the millions or billions.
After taxes, I don't think the $250 K will last very long.
She can't even buy a house with that money.

One in a million odds.
Some people are just lucky that way.
In my case, I have the opposite luck.
My "one in a million odds" would be getting stuck by lightning, or dying in a plane crash.

Most people have no skills in finance so lottery winners often go bankrupt quickly. No only is there unchecked spending but vultures comes in--both relatives and complete strangers--and try to grab the money
