Anyone else hate movie scenes in which two characters stare into each other's eyes while singing?

It's meant to show they're falling in love. I just saw a clip from the Bob Dylan movie and he's doing it on stage with a girl. The same thing happened in Walk the Line, Nashville TV series, Country Strong, A Star is Born...........plus others.

Makes me cringe.

No.

By “a girl”, do you mean…Joan Baez?

It might be cringe but it is kind of essential to the plot.

The sooner this stupid flop of a film and the stupid threads about it go away, the better.

OP, quit trying to normalize your autism.

I dislike the scenes where the heroine lip synchs into hairbrush as she dances and jives around worse.

Don't watch any Bollywood film - because that's half of the movie.

I wanted to throw a brick at my TV when Gaga and Bradley Cooper did that during their Oscars performance. Incredibly nauseating and fake.
