Media entrepreneur/ legal analyst/ TV host Dan Abrams recently announced he will end his NewsNation show Dan Abrams Live in early February. He says the amount of time he spends on the nightly cable-TV show is not practical with continuing and growing his other media businesses. This includes being chief legal analyst for ABC News, hosting a daily SiriusXM show, producing and hosting On Patrol Live on REELZ channel on the weekends. He also owns and runs such media companies as Mediaite, Law & Crime Network and Bottle Raiders. Dan says he will remain with NewsNation only in a different role. He will make more announcements on this on his show in early February.
Good riddance. His show is rather awful.

He has taken several nights off in the past month to take his son to NBA games. I think he’s realizing his son is growing up and being over-extended work-wise makes spending time with his family difficult. Good for him. Love this guy.
