Favorite international news channel??
I used to be a news junkie and watched Aljazeera English, France 24, etc. With streaming in the past 10 years you no longer have to pay expensive cable packages. Which international news channel do you like??
I find Aljazeera English is better overall, especially for more in-depth reports and stories that are non western. France 24 is good for brief news stories but is Europe centric and shallow. BBC doesn't do live streaming outside of major events, but it is boring and British/European centric.

I really enjoy watching DW English (Deutsche Welle) which is German news in English.
They are professional, extremely well-balanced, do great in-depth stories on world topics and they also make excellent documentaries. They also have some very attractive male German reporters. What's not to like?

R1 - I was going to post the same news organization. I L-O-V-E dw news from Germany. A program that is slow in its pace, does not include swirling/distracting graphics, where hosts speak to ONE guest (not four, simultaneously, like any American all-news serivce) at a time and no one yells.
My local PBS channel has a station titled WORLD and they have 2-hours of int'l news... dw, BBC, France 24 and NHK (from Japan). Interesting stuff.

R1 - Where are you watching Aljazeera English? Is there a specific cable provider you use? I mainly have access to Spectrum and they don't have that. Neither did YouTube TV.

Al Jazeera English is freely available on YouTube. I don’t know if it’s included in my cable package. I’ve never looked. I am not the poster from above, r4.
