Shen Yun is now fighting back with a new commercial aired on MSNBC today, February 2, 2025.

In it they ask in voiceover and solid caps graphics messages such as "Why Is Shen Yun Targeted By FALSE Media Narratives?" then proceed to accuse the media of colluding with the PRC in attempting to destroy Shen Yun. The commercial contains black and white footage depicting alleged state violence.

You have to see the ad to believe it. As if we don't have enough homemade cult propaganda being hurled at us!

They just rolled into my city, again. I didn't know they had eight traveling troupes which explains why they seem everywhere, all at once. I recall reading on a previous thread that the organization is abusive to the dancers and acrobats, but don't recall particulars. I was always curious, but that put a damper on it. The ticket price ($84) didn't help.
