Thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman , Viola Davis and Maria Bello. I didn't know about it and I highly recommend it. Riveting.
I just watched an excellent movie - Prisoners (2013)

Yes, OP. A highly underrated and under-awarded film. One of Jackman's best screen performances.

It's not that good.

I watched it one night to fall asleep to, and I watched the entire movie. I really liked it!!

I saw it when it came out and liked it a lot.
It's directed by Denis Villeneuve, who would later make Sicario, Arrival and the recent Dune films.

It’s good but a deeply depressing film to ring in the new year!

Too slow, OP. I quit and went to Wikipedia to find out the outcome. Seemed stupid anyway.

My pants were SOAKED in urine during the shoot!

A gripping film in spite of Hugh Jackman's occasional overacting (he's better in the quieter scenes). Paul Dano is heartbreaking and Melissa Leo is chilling.
