Capped off by the death of a beloved Democratic President.
And to think, it's only downhill from here.
2025 and beyond is going to be a Trump-Musk-MAGA shit show.
How depressing.

Luigis of the world: unite and take over.

Not necessarily.
Trump could still die a horrific, painful death that we can all witness.
That would certainly brighten things up.

We have the Republican clown car of Trump, Ramasmarmy and Elmo barreling down Pennsylvania Avenue to entertain and amuse us in 2025.
Hell, they're not even in office yet and their daily antics are already comedic cannon fodder.

There is going to be an unbelievable amount of MAGA infighting and betrayal the next couple of years.
I think our memories of the dysfunction of Dump's first term, especially during the first two years, have faded. And I speculate it's going to be worse this time around.

This year was a disaster all in all. But the strength of these two parties remains fairly evenly matched. And look at our most recent 2 term Dems, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. They each got elected in a year when Republicans had been in power (12 long years in Clinton’s case; 8 years and an economic collapse in Obama’s case) and most voters had had enough.
I’m trying to stay hopeful that the pendulum will swing back again, hard. And I believe it will.

Based on the types of voters that came out, Dems actually did pretty good. But also, Trump can't run again, and I doubt that anybody on the right would be able to rebuild his coalition. Especially since more people have voted against him than for him in every election.

I am a Trump supporter. I think this time he's making his own picks which didn't happen in his first term. He was talked into hiring RINO's and other people who were not interested in his agenda. I think the knowledge he learned in his first term will benefit him this time. Let's hope his is successful. I think the American people were duped by Biden and the dems. I put my helmet and flap jacket on!!
