Taiwanese woman charged with attempting to murder Australian with rat poison

He was in Taiwan attending a language program, but he couldn't afford to stay.

When he told the woman he was going to go back to Australia, she started poisoning him.

She didn't really think this 1 out. She was supposed to pay for his extended stay or invite herself to stay with him down under. The murder attempt is too extreme and a missed opportunity to extract Australian citizenship from the mark.
