Incident at Marc Blucas’s House
This happened at Marc Blucas’s house in New Hope PA. I believe the person rushed to the hospital was his dad, who lives on the property. Not sure of who the dead woman is.
The only reason I know this is I live up the road from here. I actually liked him in Buffy (probably only one of a handful who did).

Are we supposed to know who Marc Bluca is?

Exactly, R1.
No idea who op is talking about.

I bet Marc Blucas thought Alyson Hannigan would be the worst thing ever to happen to him.

Marc Blucas is a terrible actor.

Hmmmm… Marc is somewhat of a legend on DL. Albeit a minor one. Buffy actor? Hallmark channel heartthrob? Are you all new DL’ers? He’s pretty hot, in a beefy dumb blonde sort of way.
And yes, his acting leaves a lot to be desired.

I believe he does, r7. So does Bradley Cooper… in fact, he’s pretty close to the Blucas house. Also the Haddids and Zayn Malik. They all live within a few miles of each other. It’s truly gorgeous, I moved here a few months ago and am enjoying it.

…and I just saw the woman who died was the mother in law, Dayle Haddon. She was gorgeous in her day.

Dayle Haddon was a top model in the 70s and acted a bit during that time. Her daughter is Ryan Haddon who was married to Christian Slater.

Ryan Haddon is married to Marc Blucas now, it’s their home where this happened (although I think it was on a barn on the property that was turned into a mother in law suite).

Ummm… I’m the OP and I did not post r13. And no, not everyone knows Marc Blucas but DL does… because he’s a hot guy with not too much going on upstairs. They’re the best hot guys.

Marc must have gotten a lot more work over the years than I thought and/or invested well to live in New Hope. Maybe those Buffy conventions pay the mortgage.

The house was probably purchased after he married Ryan Haddon, who was wealthier than he was (and collected child support from Christian Slater).

Dayle Haddon was a top model just around the time that the general public was starting to learn models’ names.
Her contemporaries were Cristina Ferrare, Patti Hansen, Beverly Johnson, Cheryl Tiegs… that 70s crowd.

Holy shit, I read this thread earlier this morning and saw that a woman died. Tonight, right now, I’m watching a French movie called Madame Claude—it’s 70s soft porn like Emmanuelle about the famous madam with some government/Lockheed corruption and blackmail thrown in. One of the actresses I just looked up on IMDb, Dayle Haddon. I remember her as being a famous model with cosmetics contracts and whoops, the big orgy scene is on now. So then I checked Wikipedia because top model *and* soft porn actress? and discovered she died yesterday. She was the woman who died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Bucks Co.

Interesting and sad how this turned out. When I first posted it, I just assumed the woman who had died was Marc Blucas’s mother and his father was the one hospitalized. It turns out his father was indeed the one hospitalized but I never expected Dayle Haddon would be the one who passed away.
We don’t get a lot of excitement here in Bucks County, this has been on the news for days. I wonder if Marc and his family were in the main house when this happened. I’m guessing they were the ones who found the pair.

I'm in the contiguous county to the north, and the local story was about Dayle Haddon, not this Marc guy.
The New Hope (and to be fair Lambertville on the Jersey side) area is charming and beautiful enough for tourists and wooded enough for celebrity privacy.

R64, when it first broke that there was a death and someone who was critical, I was nosy and looked up the address owners. I’m about 5 miles from there and I knew there were some wealthy celebrities in the general vicinity. This was first thing in the morning, before anything was known about who died. I figured it was Blucas’s parents. I had no idea when I first posted that it would be his wife’s mother.
The area is indeed serene and quiet.

R75 A 911 call came in just after 6:30 a.m. Friday about a 76-year-old man who was semi-conscious on the first floor of a cottage house on a property in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road.
Rescuers then learned of a 76-year-old woman who was also in the home. They found her unconscious in a second-floor bedroom and tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

I actually went to high school with Michael Schoeffling's son Zane in Lake Wallenpaupack, PA. He sat behind me in AP US History and was even more gorgeous than his father if it's possible (and like, 6'3"). He and my high school bestie Caitlin (who was every bit the weirdo I was) had a little kinky fling junior year and I used to die inside with jealousy when she'd tell me about it. She told me his father was a carpenter or woodworker now and wanted nothing to do with acting anymore.
