Trump takes aim at Canada, Greenland and the Panama Canal in Christmas Day posts

Everyone is so used to Trump's buffoonery
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 26, 2024 4:13 PM |
It's going to be four years of this. He does it to make headlines and to keep people talking about him. It's a strategy. He knows and we know it's all bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 26, 2024 4:14 PM |
[quote] He wrote that "if Canada was to become our 51st State, their Taxes would be cut by more than 60%, their businesses would immediately double in size, and they would be militarily protected like no other Country anywhere in the World."
They would also have to pay exorbitantly for healthcare, including drugs, education, childcare, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 26, 2024 4:15 PM |
Four years of him on its way and he won't shut up for one day of them.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 26, 2024 4:25 PM |
All that fucker is trying to do is stir shit and dominate the headlines. None of this shit will ever happen. He resents Biden getting any publicity right now. As far as he is concerned he is President ever since he "won" the election. Shame on the Media for giving him credibility. IMO, we need to stop watching the mainstream news networks unless something major like a disaster happens. CNN is good with war and tidal waves. they suck at everything else.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 26, 2024 4:26 PM |
OP, you should repost every single thing he tweets! There aren’t enough trump posts here!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 26, 2024 4:28 PM |
I don’t believe for a second that the Republicans believe in any of this nonsense air will go forward on these plans. Like their ongoing strategy they are just humoring his insane rants because it is based on his batshit populism that they got the White House in the first place@- they simply road his coattails. It is completely irrelevant to them how long he lasts ( due to health concerns) because their agenda is now permanently in place and any other one of f their 2025 leaders could step in without MAGAS batting an eyelash. Not to mention the U.does not have the financial resources nor the military will to begin a campaign of Empire building with the “President of Peace”.

If I wanted to listen to the ramblings of a mentally ill person with weak grasp of reality, I could just indulge that homeless guy on my street corner.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 26, 2024 4:42 PM |
R6, I must have missed where someone held a gun to your head and forced you to read this post. How awful it must be to be you.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 26, 2024 4:43 PM |
And in the ultimate of ironies, R6, while decrying the numerous Trump posts, actually increased the number of Trump posts.
Do you see how fucking stupid you are, or does that fly over your pinhead as well?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 26, 2024 4:50 PM |
The chances of Canada becoming part of America are slim to none because the U.S would have to deal with the Quebecois.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 26, 2024 4:55 PM |
As usual with the GOP--it supports an idiot figure head so it can cut taxes for the rich
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 26, 2024 4:58 PM |
Boob bait for Bubbas.

Attention please! Pay attention to me please! I know its Christmas but for gawdsakes PAY ATTENTION TO ME!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 26, 2024 5:24 PM |
I really, really wish the media wouldn't give oxygen to Trump's delusional late-night ramblings. But I guess it's a slow news day.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 26, 2024 5:29 PM |
The Orange Gargoyle can't stand he's not the center of attention - even on Christmas day. He's doing this to get the media talking about his latest outbursts - and they gleefully comply.
I wonder how much will be spent on filling the seats at his inauguration since most locals can't stand him and the rubes that voted for him (the low caliber ones) are busy buying his crap merchandise and sending their cigarette money to his legal defense. The next 4 years will seem like 10!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 26, 2024 5:35 PM |
the media re-elected trump specifically because he does provide content 24/7, delivered directly to their phones each and every day, ready to be copy and pasted on to the news-reader's notes; trump is the media's darling, regardless of their political leanings.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 26, 2024 5:36 PM |
His daily look-at-me, I'm King-of-the-World act also has the intended effect of distracting from his life-long charge sheet. If the susceptible are clutching their pearls about the latest all-caps drivel, focus is shifted (he hopes) from his decades of culpability, much of it criminal. It's to be hoped that at least some responsible media have attention spans longer than that of a goldfish.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 26, 2024 6:04 PM |
Trump's presidency has not been certified yet, Jan 6th could be interesting.

It's also unlikely that the Republicans would really want Canada to become a state because that would mean 54 more Electoral Votes for the Democrats (Canada is the same population size as California and would vote Democratic).

It's more likely that we'll be preparing to fight Russian troops on our southern border. It's good that we're a NATO member.

Often Trump does this stuff not only to get attention, but to distract us from something else that is going on or about to happen. So, Pay Attention.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 27, 2024 4:59 PM |
He’s doing it to stir up Maple MAGA to reaffirm their support. It’s why I dread our own election next year. The PPtards are all emboldened against Justin and can’t tell you why, except that he’s a drama teacher. Plus they hate trans people and immigrants. I hope when PP gets in he cuts every program JT helped create that every last one of them benefits from.

Yes, it's stopped the media and hoi polloi from focusing on his terrible cabinet and other picks.

I'm thinking all this activity is going to wear Trump plumb out. He's not young, he doesn't look healthy - I mean, most people are dialing their activity way down at 78. A fact that's probably constantly on Vance's mind.

I have a hope that, after Canadians see what's happening in the US post-election, no party wins an outright majority. That would be the best outcome.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 27, 2024 5:52 PM |
I hope so too, R26, but I don’t see that happening. I hear too many people say JT needs to go, but can’t say why exactly. Canada is in pretty good shape right now. Conservatives will spend the next 10 years undoing it, in addition to cutting programs, and we’ll be right back to voting them out so someone else can clean up their mess.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 27, 2024 7:01 PM |
Finally!
What Americans have been clamoring about for four years under that Marxist Biden!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 28, 2024 1:36 AM |
R27 the people claiming JT needs to go are The Right. They are after him and want to erode his support and lie and distort his record, eetc. We ought to be able to see t hrough that game by now. I sure hope the Canadians do.

I am waiting for him to face-plant in his McDonald's cheeseburger. In 3...2...1.

California joining Canada would be a great idea. Boost their economy and a good cultural fit.
