Thanks to President Biden.

Poor thing thought he was signing the Thanksgiving turkey pardon.

I still say Biden should turn Mar-a-Lago into a national park.

by Anonymousreply 2December 25, 2024 1:52 AM

all of these things mean nothing.

"Of All the Birds He Could Have Chose, Biden Makes a Pic That Helps Trump in Swing States".

[QUOTE] all of these things mean nothing.

This will be more memorable than anything Trump does over the next four years. Mark my words.

[quote] all of these things mean nothing.

Who cares, though?

The bald eagle has been the de facto national bird. Now, it's the official national bird.

If Joe hadn’t done it, China was ready to claim it as their bird. It was a matter of national security.

by Anonymousreply 7December 25, 2024 3:05 AM

It wasn't already?

Wild.

by Anonymousreply 8December 25, 2024 3:14 AM

Typical writing these days, injecting unpleasantness in everything. The first sentence includes predator to add some bite. The article could’ve just said “making it the official national bird”, instead of “making the predator the official national bird.”

It’s subliminal and effective, unfortunately.

No, R2. Not a national park -He should make it an alligator and crocodile sanctuary. .

by Anonymousreply 10December 25, 2024 4:34 AM

Our national nightmare is finally over.

Google is becoming NASA. Never A Straight Answer. I asked if there is any bird that can be found in each state of the US. I didn't get an answer.

by Anonymousreply 13December 25, 2024 5:25 AM

It’s about your phrasing, R13. When I Googled the question, I got:

[QUOTE] No, there is no bird that is found in every state in the United States

by Anonymousreply 14December 25, 2024 3:59 PM

Never knew the Bald Eagle wasn’t already officially the national bird.

I guess we don’t have national anything—like no national Flower

by Anonymousreply 15December 25, 2024 4:31 PM

Benjamin Franklin wanted it to be the wild Turkey.

Apparently Bald Eagles are assholes. They’re aggressive and they steal kills from other birds and animals.

“Bald eagles regularly catch ducks on the water by diving at them until they either become exhausted or drown while trying to get away. They also steal food from just about any bird they feel like hazing including their own kind.”

by Anonymousreply 16December 25, 2024 4:39 PM

Sounds like the perfect bird for America, R16.
