You can just throw a lit match at someone and their clothes instantly enflame? Wouldn't it take awhile to happen? I know she was asleep, but it just seems like she would have had time to roll on the floor and extinguish the flames. I don't see how it could have happened that quickly.

There were alcohol bottles around her, so the speculation is that the guy poured alcohol on her, then lit her on fire. She probably lit up quickly like a bonfire.
If she was passed out drunk, she wouldn't have been able to react quickly enough to douse out the flames.

My biggest is fear is to burn to death.
I can't imagine a more horrific way to die.
The husband of a friend of mine died in a house fire three years ago. She managed to escape out of their bedroom window. She told me he was behind her as they were escaping, but when she got out the window and to the ground, he wasn't there. All she could hear was his blood curdling screams coming from the window, and there was nothing she could do.
Good God, I can't imagine.
