Prosecutor Kari Morrissey withdrew the appeal she filed after the judge dismissed the manslaughter trial against the actor.

He really does look Trumpesque. But he was not responsible for that shooting accident.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 24, 2024 4:44 AM |
Great-now he can get that face lift.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 24, 2024 4:46 AM |
…and that vasectomy
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 24, 2024 5:25 AM |
Trump must be in the Xmas spirit. He has a lot to be grateful for.
If I was Baldwin I'd move the family to Spain.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 24, 2024 6:31 AM |
those ridges below his eyes are the result of alcoholism
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 24, 2024 6:45 AM |
r5 true.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 24, 2024 7:06 AM |
I wouldn’t have wanted to be in his shoes, this whole thing was terrible, and to be in Trump’s line of sight as well.
The appeal was an overzealous prosecutor trying to to make a name for themselves latching onto celebrity blood like a thirsty bedbug.

there's no way this thing remembers all of his kids' names.

Easy, r8:
Roberto, Alberto, Umberto, Adalberto, Royberto, Omberto, Filiberto, Loberto!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 24, 2024 8:19 AM |
R1 He DOES.
I'm glad he made it through it ok, this case was absurd.
What a thing to go through.
I have to spend the next month on grand jury duty and I'm dreading it
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 24, 2024 8:21 AM |
More details about ridges under the eyes — alcohol related ? Never knew that
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 24, 2024 11:27 AM |
He needs to dab some preparation H under those eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 24, 2024 11:49 AM |
No he can go back to doing what he does best -
SUCKING COCK 🍆

R11 From personal experience not me but two people that I know who big drinkers have the exact same look. I don't know if it's from dehydration, but their eyes are sunken, and they have that unusual skin formation which isn't normal wrinkling.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 24, 2024 6:15 PM |
take this thing back to the Hamptons!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 24, 2024 6:18 PM |
Yuck. I can't believe I jerked many gayling loads to this cretin.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 24, 2024 6:20 PM |
Kari Morrissey - first the charges were dismissed in July with prejudice - and she got called out for all of her mishandlings of the evidence and lectured by the judge. So she appeals.
She puts HERSELF on the stand to save face.
She's PSYCHO - She's also a registered Republican. She should face charges. I'm tired of LEOs getting off the hook because it's just procedure.
No - you cost this man millions of dollars in legal fees and tried to destroy his reputation.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 24, 2024 6:28 PM |
Good for him - I realize it was an accident but he is still a creep.
Merry Christmas! 🎅🏼🎅🏽🎅🏾🎅🏿🎅🏻🎅

Hilaria must be so disappointed. You just know the chance to be married to a convicted murderer had fired up her Latin loins like nothing has since she got knocked up with kid #9.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 24, 2024 6:35 PM |
Too bad he and his esposa loca can't be prosecuted for their arrogance and obnoxious pap strolls in the aftermath of the tragic and avoidable death of Halyna. I know lawyers advise their clients to go about their normal lives and not act guilty but he really should have laid low afterwards. No Starbucks runs like everything was just peachy and the nutcase wife shouldn't have been posting photos of their kids on social media bleating about how grateful she was for them when a nine year old boy just lost his mother. They are despicable.

How is he not responsible? He was a producer of the film and there were clear violations on set.
"On the morning of October 21, 2021, which was to be the twelfth day of filming, seven unionized members of the film's camera crew collected their belongings at approximately 6:30 a.m. MT in a walkout. They claim they were told to leave the set, with a producer threatening to call the police, and were replaced. According to a statement given to TheWrap by an anonymous insider, several crew members took a number of prop guns off-set that day, including the firearm involved in the incident, to pass the time shooting at beer cans with live ammunition. After a lunch break, the prop guns had been returned. It is not clear if the firearms were checked again. "

Don't forget me, R9!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 24, 2024 6:54 PM |
He hired an inexperienced armorer to cut costs and this is what happened.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 24, 2024 6:54 PM |
I love how his wife reacted when it was announced - looking back and forth - "No comprendo? Es good, yes?"
Si Hilaria, es good, muy bien.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 24, 2024 6:56 PM |
IMO, he shouldn't have been charged with murder. It wasn't intentional. It was a VERY tragic accident. Nothing more.

You cannot prosecute people for not behaving decorously--they have to have broken an actual serious law.

[quote] How is he not responsible? He was a producer of the film and there were clear violations on set.
He may be held responsible as producer if a civil case is brought against him and the production company, but he is not guilty of the criminal charge of manslaughter. That is what was just determined.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 24, 2024 7:11 PM |
r1 please, he still looks miles better than Trump. However he kinda looks like he just out of the ring with Mike Tyson.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 24, 2024 7:16 PM |
R28 - well, if you've been through this stupid trial for the past few years and have 7 children 10 and under at home, you may not be looking like a spring flower either.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 24, 2024 7:22 PM |
r29, I apologize Mr. Baldwin's publicist.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 24, 2024 7:25 PM |
R30 - apology accepted. I didn't even mention how exhausting it is having to use Google translate every day just so he can communicate with his wife.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 24, 2024 7:34 PM |
Good. Not his fault in the least

Right, because pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger is totally fine. Gun safety rules are for Marys.

Maybe that extra whiskey is a bad idea after all.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 24, 2024 7:44 PM |
I know that r26, I was just musing out loud how nice it would be if uncouth people could be charged or even just fined like for littering. He and his non-Spanish wife were both being thoughtless little pigs after Halyna's death.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 24, 2024 7:45 PM |
New York needs to hire this prosecutor for the Luigi case.

As opposed to a non-serious law like involuntary manslaughter- a death resulting in reckless and criminal negligence?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 24, 2024 7:58 PM |
Baldwin wasn't found not guilty. The case was dismissed due to prosecutorial incompetence.

[Quote] Right, because pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger is totally fine. Gun safety rules are for Marys.
It was a movie set. People shoot guns constantly in the movies and no one gets killed. Actors aren’t supposed to be gun experts. It’s like having to always taste the food before every restaurant scene in a movie to make sure it’s not poisoned:

[Quote] Baldwin wasn't found not guilty. The case was dismissed due to prosecutorial incompetence.
And the fact there was no case to prosecute

[quote] And the fact there was no case to prosecute
Of course there was a case, even Baldwin knew that which is why he went on television and claimed he didn't pull the trigger.
[quote] It was a movie set. People shoot guns constantly in the movies and no one gets killed
Maybe because they check the gun before pointing it at someone and firing? Maybe because the don't use real guns? Maybe because the set isn't a shit show like the Rust set?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 24, 2024 8:11 PM |
Did Rust ever come out. I want to see it.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 24, 2024 8:18 PM |
R41 - why are you so out to get Baldwin? The judge threw the case out - there was no case - and thew it out with prejudice because of how bad the prosecutor was with evidence and other things.
There was someone else in charge of the munition on the set - they are the ones at fault. What's your damage Heather?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 24, 2024 8:18 PM |
Yeah, r41: I don't see why you think you're such an expert on this case and can prove manslaughter charges when the prosecutors could not over the course of many months.
You'll have to make a better case if you want us to believe you--otherwise you're just blowing more hot air.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 24, 2024 9:24 PM |
R43 Of course there was a case, do you know anything about the law?
I've thought he was an asshole years before this latest bruhaha. But it was his behavior afterwards that made me want to see the fucker locked up. That's what Hutchins' widower thought too, talking about his wife's death and taking absolutely no responsibilty fo the incident, the set, his constant babbling in disturbing detail without a thought for the family of the victim. His lawyers pleaded with him to shut up but no on tells the fat fuck bully to be quiet.
If Baldwin was a Trumper you would be trashing him too. Yeah, I hate the guy, and I'm a hardcore left-winger.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 24, 2024 9:25 PM |
Agree with R39. No doubt there are numerous near tragedies on movie sets we never hear about.
As a former prosecutor, the lawyers prosecuting this case were motivated by politics and 15 minutes of fame. Intentional and unintentional errors are too numerous to mention.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 24, 2024 9:31 PM |
Dude it is not manslaughter. Violating a safety procedure resulting in someone's death is not manslaughter when you don't bear the responsibility of ensuring the safety. Baldwin was not the on set gun handler, safety officer, or ammunition expert. That gun should have never been loaded with live bullets.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 24, 2024 9:32 PM |
The judge dismissed the case WITH prejudice meaning jeopardy has attached and he cannot be tried again .
The corrupt DA and sheriff don’t stop.
Yes, Alec was a jerk parading around for social media but he wasn’t charged for that.
He fucked up hy hiring an extremely inexperienced armorer and he could have been convicted of that . When a case is so mucked up and overcharged this is what happens .
I still love him deeply . Watch The Edge
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 24, 2024 9:36 PM |
I know people who have worked with Alec Baldwin. He’s incredibly funny and charming. Until he gets angry about something. Then look out.
