Pedo Gay Dads in Georgia who adopted 2 boys then sexually abused them, sentenced to 100 years in prison.

Sick and sad. They presented as “nice gays” (white, professional, clean cut and good looking) to the world but they were kid-rapers.

Is this datalounge or the daily crime report. When did DL become Nancy Grace?

by Anonymousreply 1December 24, 2024 12:50 AM

Don't be such a nancy, R1.

by Anonymousreply 4December 24, 2024 1:16 AM

It's really horrible, not only for those poor boys, but for all of us - this is what they think we all are. Truth a homosexual pedo is extremely rare - actually 100X less likely than a hetero - oh well, I hope those boys can heal and learn to trust again.

by Anonymousreply 5December 24, 2024 1:41 AM

I’m so happy that this is the top story on Daily Fail right now. I don’t even need to look at the comments to know that their right wing audience will claim that this is what every gay couple does who adopt kids. There are plenty of stories out there of hetero couples/moms doing this exact same thing. But they are never the top story.

by Anonymousreply 6December 24, 2024 1:42 AM

I'm glad they didn't actually kill the boys I hope they can find a way to process all of this but it will be rough.

I'm sorry the couple didn't kill themselves when they knew it was over. Alive, they will be used as propaganda and hatred.

This is not who we are but this will be weaponized.

by Anonymousreply 7December 24, 2024 2:48 AM

Horrible situation but 100 years in jail is rather over the top

They'll be killed in prison within a few years.

by Anonymousreply 11December 24, 2024 3:28 AM

r11

Years is generous in GA prison.

by Anonymousreply 12December 24, 2024 3:37 AM

How did these pedos identify. Did they call themselves queer or +.

by Anonymousreply 13December 24, 2024 3:38 AM

"Horrible situation but 100 years in jail is rather over the top"

Disagree. They deserve the death penalty. There should be more deterrents in place---seems to happen all of the time (mostly str8s).

by Anonymousreply 14December 24, 2024 4:24 AM

R9, who’s that?

by Anonymousreply 15December 24, 2024 4:34 AM

R14, the death penalty has never worked as a deterrent.

by Anonymousreply 16December 24, 2024 4:34 AM

R13 Clearly, they and the kids are wearing T-shirts with the LGBT flag in the family photo.

by Anonymousreply 17December 24, 2024 4:35 AM

No Words

by Anonymousreply 18December 24, 2024 4:37 AM

In some circles this would be called a shonda fur die goyim.

by Anonymousreply 19December 24, 2024 4:40 AM

[quote] They'll be killed in prison within a few years.

The whole thing about pedophiles being killed in prison is a myth. It makes people feel good but statistically it’s inaccurate.

by Anonymousreply 20December 24, 2024 4:42 AM

R19, who said that they were Jewish?

by Anonymousreply 21December 24, 2024 4:45 AM

No one. It’s an analogy.

by Anonymousreply 22December 24, 2024 4:46 AM

We must erase capital punishment as it’s too expensive. Lock them up, provide reasonable care, put them on an organ donor’s list when they get close to dying.

by Anonymousreply 23December 24, 2024 5:06 AM

Please. Many things are "too expensive."

by Anonymousreply 24December 24, 2024 5:09 AM

There are many reasons to oppose capital punishment and the expense is probably the most trivial one.

by Anonymousreply 25December 24, 2024 5:19 AM

R25, expense is one but worse is that study after study shows the death penalty to be used for minority and poor criminals more than white and wealthier ones

by Anonymousreply 26December 24, 2024 5:22 AM

They would have gotten less time if they had murdered the kids

by Anonymousreply 27December 24, 2024 5:33 AM

Give me a break, r27. It's entirely possible, because it seems like the baseline punishment for first degree murder of children is less than 10 years---but they could have easily gotten the death penalty.

by Anonymousreply 28December 24, 2024 5:58 AM

I believe that certain crimes deserve the death penalty. Mitigating circumstances in a scenario like this where the guilt has been proven beyond any doubt whatsoever and there is a full confession should be of no consequence. I don't care if it's expensive, not equally administered---it's not equally administered because sentencing guidelines are fucked, and the prosecution is encouraged to cut deals. Perpetrators of exceptionally anti-social violent crime (anything involving torture, rape or the sexual abuse of old people, the disabled, children, or animals) should be considered beyond rehabilitation for the sake pf expedience and the peace of mind of the general public. The social contract with people like this has been severed---what's the point of pretending to care about their human rights?

by Anonymousreply 29December 24, 2024 6:09 AM

R25, a life sentence without parole eliminates expensive TIME our legal system spends to ensure the appeals process is performed. It’s an under-staffed and under-funded system.

If there are errors in a life imprisonment case, we still have a person; there would not be a murder in error.

We try to appease that primitive blood lust every time. It’s a tool.

Take the tools away. We have always had murderers. The current batch are no more or less guilty. Put them away. Move on. They’re not worth pop culture’s constant attention.

by Anonymousreply 30December 24, 2024 6:09 AM

[quote]a life sentence without parole eliminates expensive

But "without parole" will eventually be deemed inhumane and then what?

by Anonymousreply 31December 24, 2024 6:40 AM

(I meant in general for sadistic murderers, not in reference to this case that I didn't bother to read about.)

by Anonymousreply 32December 24, 2024 6:44 AM

It's impossible to adequately punish people like these two men, r31 and r29. It doesn't matter how you kill them or how long they're in prison. Nothing will come close to the misery they inflicted on those kids.

The only thing society can do is put them in some kind of secure facility for life.

by Anonymousreply 33December 24, 2024 7:06 AM

Pedo gay dads in a Georgian prison.

Their asses will be raped raw by the end of the first week.

by Anonymousreply 34December 24, 2024 7:25 AM

They won't survive their sentence

by Anonymousreply 35December 24, 2024 7:49 AM

May they both get shanked in prison on their first day.

by Anonymousreply 36December 24, 2024 8:01 AM

r1 datalounge covers every and anything. Why deflect with this??

by Anonymousreply 37December 24, 2024 8:04 AM

Poor kids. Anybody who does these heinous things to kids will do it again if given the chance. I don't care if they're straight, gay, women, or their grandparents. These kind of monsters can't be fixed.

by Anonymousreply 38December 24, 2024 8:04 AM

let them be raped in the ass and every which way possible while in jail.

an eye for an eye.

and I'm not a death penalty supporter, but these two need some justice served upon them.

by Anonymousreply 39December 24, 2024 8:10 AM

Being gay, they are far more vulnerable to vigilante justice than any straight couple. Im surprised they took such a risk, from a practical standpoint.

by Anonymousreply 41December 24, 2024 5:22 PM

These pieces of shit are examples of why I’m skeptical of any parents who go overboard in presenting a picture-perfect image of family life. Often they’re hiding some twisted shit.

by Anonymousreply 42December 24, 2024 5:36 PM

Are they actually into children or is it a power thing??

by Anonymousreply 43December 24, 2024 6:25 PM

So - let me just say - it's sick and they deserve punishment.

BUT - I feel like if it was a straight couple and it was 2 little girls - somehow the charges would be like 25-30 years.

There seems to be some homophobia at play here with the sentencing. 100 years?

First degree murder in GA, you get a chance at parole after 30 years. 2nd degree murder, sentence of 10-30 years.

Unless it was particularly heinous?

by Anonymousreply 44December 24, 2024 6:40 PM

It was especially heinous!

by Anonymousreply 45December 24, 2024 6:41 PM

Eh spare yourself from reading all the details but one child suffered injuries from the rape and there was video footage AND they sold videos to pedophiles. The sentence was severe because of the cumulative evidence and severity of the crime.

by Anonymousreply 46December 24, 2024 7:16 PM

Jail will not be kind to them, and going off R5 the idiots are going to associate with all LGBT as an example to perpetuate their bigoted beliefs we’re perverts and pedophies.

by Anonymousreply 47December 24, 2024 7:36 PM

Pedophiles* set the record straight

by Anonymousreply 48December 24, 2024 7:36 PM

Fry ‘em.

by Anonymousreply 49December 24, 2024 8:07 PM

How many pedo priests got anywhere near that as a sentence?

I’m willing to bet zero. In fact, did any go to jail at all

by Anonymousreply 50December 24, 2024 8:10 PM

death penalty has never worked as a deterrent.

What about just as a punishment? I'm for punishing certain offenders harshly, like this for a long time. Not the death penalty.

by Anonymousreply 51December 24, 2024 9:04 PM

r50 Often priest get away with it due to statues of limitations. They -- this couple, were raping those poor boys for years (up into they were charged) in their custody.

by Anonymousreply 52December 24, 2024 10:33 PM

Death penalty for them

by Anonymousreply 53December 24, 2024 10:34 PM

Vile

by Anonymousreply 54December 24, 2024 10:37 PM

I totally understand thinking some people deserve death. But how do you create a system that for sure only executes the guilty? It's easier said than done.

by Anonymousreply 55December 24, 2024 10:57 PM

It is just weird that they got 100 years. Not saying they’re not monsters but murderers routinely get 20-30, parole options. Something about this country where sex is viewed worst than murder. What is worse than murder?

by Anonymousreply 56December 24, 2024 11:06 PM

Not sex, I know it’s rape, child molestation. But I’ve seen people talk so harsh about child predators who don’t kill as if they are worst than murderers. Let’s make no mistake about it, it’s about the ideas about sex.

by Anonymousreply 57December 24, 2024 11:07 PM

r55 If it is caught on camera there is no doubt. Although with fake deeps, I guess not. One of the men (pedo dads) filmed raping the boys. Also that untied health killer was caught on cctv killing the CEO. Excluding AI those are the cases where there is no doubt.

by Anonymousreply 58December 24, 2024 11:09 PM

R58 AIs of my enemies doing despicable things coming.

by Anonymousreply 59December 24, 2024 11:11 PM

R57, it's not about the idea of sex, it's about the idea of trauma. Those boys will suffer a lifetime of trauma, and for some abused children, that carried trauma *will* be worse than death.

by Anonymousreply 60December 24, 2024 11:13 PM

Just the thought of what they did makes my skin crawl. Those poor kids. How could anyone find it in themselves to abuse a kid?

by Anonymousreply 61December 25, 2024 12:22 AM

What's worse is they loaned them out to local pedos

by Anonymousreply 62December 25, 2024 12:28 AM

r62 Yes. And they used it to fund their lavish lifestyle. They bought a mansion when there is no way they could afford it on their two incomes. Given the money they would have had, there is no way they only loaned it to the 12 people or so the media has talked about. It must be bigger network sadly.

by Anonymousreply 63December 25, 2024 1:51 AM

R63 I almost wonder if they were pansies for a larger network or conspiracy. Not pansies as in being innocent but locking up the evil gays and making this all go away.

by Anonymousreply 64December 25, 2024 1:53 AM

r64 I think they are. We only seen two of the other men who bought the videos. Why is the media not talking about the other men?? They said about a dozen men were involved. The two pedo "dads" build a mansion from the ground up. The only way they could do that is if they charged 100,000 for every 10 or 12 customers. I know Georgia is cheap, but the money for both the house and the furniture doesn't match their incomes.

by Anonymousreply 65December 25, 2024 2:00 AM

I'm curious as to how they met. Were they both naturally pedophiles who just happened to find each other? Was one really a pedo who was dominant in the relationship and convinced the other one to go along with it? (I haven't read the AJC article.)

by Anonymousreply 66December 25, 2024 2:01 AM

r66 I always wonder this about couples like this. The turpin family(creepy straight couple) and that lesbian couple that threw themselves and their adopted children off a cliff. I guess they can sense the mutual crazy. Or maybe one of them revealed their perversions and the other co-signed(and regular men/people they met ran away in fear).

by Anonymousreply 67December 25, 2024 2:14 AM

R44 and R56: Sentences are often meted out by the number of offenses. More rapes and more victims = more punishment.

Sentences are also determined by various criteria that show depravity or other indifference to the suffering of the victims. Raping adopted children in your care is only a start.

More crimes = more punishment. This wasn't merely child rape. It was also creating porn of child rape; selling child rape to others; and possibly the ownership of other csa materials traded or purchased from others.

Given all the crimes committed by these two, it wouldn't surprise me that the judge stopped at 100 years because of sentencing limits. It would probably be easy to find ways of increasing the sentence.

by Anonymousreply 68December 25, 2024 2:20 AM

R57, it's not about "sex." It's not like the kids were incidentally and haphazardly exposed to sex. The sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children is deeply antisocial and about violent subjugation at its core. Intercourse with a toddler*, which has been alleged in this case, is physically dangerous.

by Anonymousreply 69December 25, 2024 6:48 AM

"I'm curious as to how they met. Were they both naturally pedophiles who just happened to find each other? Was one really a pedo who was dominant in the relationship and convinced the other one to go along with it? (I haven't read the AJC article.)"

Probably on Grindr (seriously). When you read about straight men doing this, they're usually meeting kids' moms on regular dating sites.

by Anonymousreply 70December 25, 2024 6:53 AM

Interestingly enough, these degenerates were considering adopting a 2 year old girl right before the bust

by Anonymousreply 71December 25, 2024 6:54 AM

what the fuck about the girl.

they are all levels of child porn.

It's so bad about the boys but also to involve the 2 year old girl. wtf??

by Anonymousreply 72December 25, 2024 7:01 AM

Homo and heterosexuality does not preclude molesting and raping kids of both genders.

by Anonymousreply 73December 25, 2024 7:04 AM

Yeah, they were probably both into it and also wanted to expand their suburban CP empire.

by Anonymousreply 74December 25, 2024 7:08 AM

These two children were special needs children. And yes, they were about to adopt the two year old girl from the same CHRISTIAN adoption agency, that conveniently went out of business right after these two pedophiles were arrested.

I live about 8 miles from where they lived

by Anonymousreply 75December 25, 2024 7:50 AM

[quote]Horrible situation but 100 years in jail is rather over the top

R8 No actually it isnt, it's an entirely reasonable sentence, and I wish similar sentencing practices were adopted here down under.

[quote]These kind of monsters can't be fixed

We have treatment programmes here. They dont work. R38 is right

[quote]The only thing society can do is put them in some kind of secure facility for life.

This is the best option as pointed out by R33. It isnt a deterrent, but it prevents them from reoffending - incapacitating them by removing them from potential victims. That's what matters, any punishment aspect is largely irrelevant, and any deterrent effect you get is a bonus
