Sick and sad. They presented as “nice gays” (white, professional, clean cut and good looking) to the world but they were kid-rapers.
Pedo Gay Dads in Georgia who adopted 2 boys then sexually abused them, sentenced to 100 years in prison.

It's really horrible, not only for those poor boys, but for all of us - this is what they think we all are. Truth a homosexual pedo is extremely rare - actually 100X less likely than a hetero - oh well, I hope those boys can heal and learn to trust again.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 24, 2024 1:41 AM |
I’m so happy that this is the top story on Daily Fail right now. I don’t even need to look at the comments to know that their right wing audience will claim that this is what every gay couple does who adopt kids. There are plenty of stories out there of hetero couples/moms doing this exact same thing. But they are never the top story.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 24, 2024 1:42 AM |
I'm glad they didn't actually kill the boys I hope they can find a way to process all of this but it will be rough.
I'm sorry the couple didn't kill themselves when they knew it was over. Alive, they will be used as propaganda and hatred.
This is not who we are but this will be weaponized.

Disagree. They deserve the death penalty. There should be more deterrents in place---seems to happen all of the time (mostly str8s).

We must erase capital punishment as it’s too expensive. Lock them up, provide reasonable care, put them on an organ donor’s list when they get close to dying.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 24, 2024 5:06 AM |
Please. Many things are "too expensive."
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 24, 2024 5:09 AM |
There are many reasons to oppose capital punishment and the expense is probably the most trivial one.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 24, 2024 5:19 AM |
R25, expense is one but worse is that study after study shows the death penalty to be used for minority and poor criminals more than white and wealthier ones
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 24, 2024 5:22 AM |
They would have gotten less time if they had murdered the kids
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 24, 2024 5:33 AM |
Give me a break, r27. It's entirely possible, because it seems like the baseline punishment for first degree murder of children is less than 10 years---but they could have easily gotten the death penalty.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 24, 2024 5:58 AM |
I believe that certain crimes deserve the death penalty. Mitigating circumstances in a scenario like this where the guilt has been proven beyond any doubt whatsoever and there is a full confession should be of no consequence. I don't care if it's expensive, not equally administered---it's not equally administered because sentencing guidelines are fucked, and the prosecution is encouraged to cut deals. Perpetrators of exceptionally anti-social violent crime (anything involving torture, rape or the sexual abuse of old people, the disabled, children, or animals) should be considered beyond rehabilitation for the sake pf expedience and the peace of mind of the general public. The social contract with people like this has been severed---what's the point of pretending to care about their human rights?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 24, 2024 6:09 AM |
R25, a life sentence without parole eliminates expensive TIME our legal system spends to ensure the appeals process is performed. It’s an under-staffed and under-funded system.
If there are errors in a life imprisonment case, we still have a person; there would not be a murder in error.
We try to appease that primitive blood lust every time. It’s a tool.
Take the tools away. We have always had murderers. The current batch are no more or less guilty. Put them away. Move on. They’re not worth pop culture’s constant attention.

by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 24, 2024 6:44 AM |
It's impossible to adequately punish people like these two men, r31 and r29. It doesn't matter how you kill them or how long they're in prison. Nothing will come close to the misery they inflicted on those kids.
The only thing society can do is put them in some kind of secure facility for life.

Being gay, they are far more vulnerable to vigilante justice than any straight couple. Im surprised they took such a risk, from a practical standpoint.

Are they actually into children or is it a power thing??
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 24, 2024 6:25 PM |
So - let me just say - it's sick and they deserve punishment.
BUT - I feel like if it was a straight couple and it was 2 little girls - somehow the charges would be like 25-30 years.
There seems to be some homophobia at play here with the sentencing. 100 years?
First degree murder in GA, you get a chance at parole after 30 years. 2nd degree murder, sentence of 10-30 years.
Unless it was particularly heinous?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 24, 2024 6:40 PM |
It was especially heinous!
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 24, 2024 6:41 PM |
Eh spare yourself from reading all the details but one child suffered injuries from the rape and there was video footage AND they sold videos to pedophiles. The sentence was severe because of the cumulative evidence and severity of the crime.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 24, 2024 7:16 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 24, 2024 10:57 PM |
It is just weird that they got 100 years. Not saying they’re not monsters but murderers routinely get 20-30, parole options. Something about this country where sex is viewed worst than murder. What is worse than murder?
by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 24, 2024 11:06 PM |
Not sex, I know it’s rape, child molestation. But I’ve seen people talk so harsh about child predators who don’t kill as if they are worst than murderers. Let’s make no mistake about it, it’s about the ideas about sex.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 24, 2024 11:07 PM |
r55 If it is caught on camera there is no doubt. Although with fake deeps, I guess not. One of the men (pedo dads) filmed raping the boys. Also that untied health killer was caught on cctv killing the CEO. Excluding AI those are the cases where there is no doubt.

by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 24, 2024 11:11 PM |
R57, it's not about the idea of sex, it's about the idea of trauma. Those boys will suffer a lifetime of trauma, and for some abused children, that carried trauma *will* be worse than death.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 24, 2024 11:13 PM |
Just the thought of what they did makes my skin crawl. Those poor kids. How could anyone find it in themselves to abuse a kid?
by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 25, 2024 12:22 AM |
What's worse is they loaned them out to local pedos
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 25, 2024 12:28 AM |
r62 Yes. And they used it to fund their lavish lifestyle. They bought a mansion when there is no way they could afford it on their two incomes. Given the money they would have had, there is no way they only loaned it to the 12 people or so the media has talked about. It must be bigger network sadly.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 25, 2024 1:51 AM |
R63 I almost wonder if they were pansies for a larger network or conspiracy. Not pansies as in being innocent but locking up the evil gays and making this all go away.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | December 25, 2024 1:53 AM |
r64 I think they are. We only seen two of the other men who bought the videos. Why is the media not talking about the other men?? They said about a dozen men were involved. The two pedo "dads" build a mansion from the ground up. The only way they could do that is if they charged 100,000 for every 10 or 12 customers. I know Georgia is cheap, but the money for both the house and the furniture doesn't match their incomes.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | December 25, 2024 2:00 AM |
I'm curious as to how they met. Were they both naturally pedophiles who just happened to find each other? Was one really a pedo who was dominant in the relationship and convinced the other one to go along with it? (I haven't read the AJC article.)
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 25, 2024 2:01 AM |
r66 I always wonder this about couples like this. The turpin family(creepy straight couple) and that lesbian couple that threw themselves and their adopted children off a cliff. I guess they can sense the mutual crazy. Or maybe one of them revealed their perversions and the other co-signed(and regular men/people they met ran away in fear).
by Anonymous | reply 67 | December 25, 2024 2:14 AM |
R44 and R56: Sentences are often meted out by the number of offenses. More rapes and more victims = more punishment.
Sentences are also determined by various criteria that show depravity or other indifference to the suffering of the victims. Raping adopted children in your care is only a start.
More crimes = more punishment. This wasn't merely child rape. It was also creating porn of child rape; selling child rape to others; and possibly the ownership of other csa materials traded or purchased from others.
Given all the crimes committed by these two, it wouldn't surprise me that the judge stopped at 100 years because of sentencing limits. It would probably be easy to find ways of increasing the sentence.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | December 25, 2024 2:20 AM |
R57, it's not about "sex." It's not like the kids were incidentally and haphazardly exposed to sex. The sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children is deeply antisocial and about violent subjugation at its core. Intercourse with a toddler*, which has been alleged in this case, is physically dangerous.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | December 25, 2024 6:48 AM |

Probably on Grindr (seriously). When you read about straight men doing this, they're usually meeting kids' moms on regular dating sites.

by Anonymous | reply 74 | December 25, 2024 7:08 AM |
These two children were special needs children. And yes, they were about to adopt the two year old girl from the same CHRISTIAN adoption agency, that conveniently went out of business right after these two pedophiles were arrested.

R8 No actually it isnt, it's an entirely reasonable sentence, and I wish similar sentencing practices were adopted here down under.
[quote]These kind of monsters can't be fixed
We have treatment programmes here. They dont work. R38 is right
[quote]The only thing society can do is put them in some kind of secure facility for life.
This is the best option as pointed out by R33. It isnt a deterrent, but it prevents them from reoffending - incapacitating them by removing them from potential victims. That's what matters, any punishment aspect is largely irrelevant, and any deterrent effect you get is a bonus
