Didi- A gem of a film that will be forgotten

If you like Coming of age films- I highly recommend this one-

Didi- its on Peacock--

And for months the critics had Joan Chen as a shoe in for Supporting actress nomination- it's a shame that she lost that traction- she SO deserves it- and the young man who played the main character is FANTASTIC- He is Didi (which I believe means "older son"..

I am 45 so 2008 to me is "my prime"- the film takes place in 2008/2009- so it may not appeal to everyone, but the themes are pretty universal.
