Between the cold and the dark I feel like I'm living in True Detective Night Country.
It's the shortest day of the year today

You’re living in a shitty, overwrought tv show, OP? I condole you.

Are you an angry Native American woman with pierced cheeks, OP?

It's funny, I was struck by how bright it was in my west facing suite when my auto blinds opened at sunset....for a second I thought they were malfunctioning and opening too early. But I suppose the sun was also at its lowest position in the sky today too, hence the seeming brightness at sunset.
Good news is the days get longer here in out!
It's very cold in Toronto, -10c.

This should be known as Annual Asian Dick day.

OP - So, you feel like a closeted lesbian?

You should be happy then - we've reached bottom and it will only get lighter from here. Though it will get colder. Ugh.

As the days lengthens, the cold strengthens. Although it feels very much like January now.

Hated it more when I was younger. Now as an eldergay being crazy busy constantly with a million things always, not so much—time flies so quickly now, it’ll feel warm with long days and like being at the beach again, in about 9 minutes.

I needed OP to remind me of Night Country's existence. What a big nothing.

Not everywhere, OP.
