King Charles’ Cancer is a “Managed Condition” and Treatment Will Continue

Buckingham Palaces calls Charles’ cancer a managed condition and that his treatment cycle will continue into next year. That doesn’t sound like a cure to me. More like it’s to prolong his life. Doesn’t sound good.

May Charles enjoy full and perfect health.

Tick tock!

Just die already, you penny was spent LONG ago, who fucking cares

by Anonymousreply 3December 20, 2024 10:15 PM

HM would never refer to being on a “cancer journey”.

by Anonymousreply 4December 20, 2024 10:30 PM

"Managed Condition" means it's not going away.

by Anonymousreply 5December 20, 2024 10:32 PM

Tell us he's terminal without telling us he's terminal.

I’ve always liked Charles. Seems like a good guy and has done some truly good deeds: way ahead on wnvironmental issues and the Prince’s Trust has done outstanding work.

But the way he’s not let cancer slow him down to any meaningful degree is truly admirable.

Hope he makes it thru. If not, he’ll be remembered with love and respect.

Wasn’t the late Queen’s cancer similarly “managed”?

by Anonymousreply 8December 21, 2024 3:48 PM

Queen Dowager Camilla has a nice ring to it.

I can't imagine what William will do with his stepmom still around.

Pancreatic cancer is manageable until it kills you.

by Anonymousreply 10December 21, 2024 3:56 PM

Godspeed great King.

by Anonymousreply 11December 21, 2024 3:57 PM

Is that the type he has, R10?

by Anonymousreply 12December 21, 2024 3:58 PM

r8, I never heard that the queen had cancer.

by Anonymousreply 13December 21, 2024 8:18 PM

Bone marrow cancer. But maybe it wasn’t officially confirmed.

by Anonymousreply 14December 23, 2024 7:52 PM

Are we sure it's pancreatic cancer? Stage 1 is only slightly manageble.

by Anonymousreply 15December 23, 2024 8:09 PM

[quote] Are we sure it's pancreatic cancer?

No. Someone suggested it on DL and then it was treated as accepted fact.

by Anonymousreply 16December 23, 2024 11:16 PM

[quote] [R8], I never heard that the queen had cancer.

Boris Johnson blabbed that it was cancer.

by Anonymousreply 17December 23, 2024 11:17 PM

The Queen indeed had bone cancer, I'm sure it has been confirmed.
