He's hot

by Anonymousreply 80December 22, 2024 12:23 PM

Nice! He's very cute.

by Anonymousreply 1December 12, 2024 3:13 AM

Don't make me say it!

by Anonymousreply 2December 12, 2024 3:15 AM

He already said it R2!

Here's a crotch shot. Looks substantial:

by Anonymousreply 3December 12, 2024 3:31 AM

Meh.

AWG.

by Anonymousreply 4December 12, 2024 3:32 AM

He's good looking, and ultimately isn't that what matters to DLers?

by Anonymousreply 5December 12, 2024 3:41 AM

Rutgers sucks at football.

by Anonymousreply 6December 12, 2024 4:05 AM

He’s got even better tits than Luigi

by Anonymousreply 7December 12, 2024 4:15 AM

He’s going to get a LOT of dick.

by Anonymousreply 8December 12, 2024 4:38 AM

Not sure why we should care about this.

How is he different from any other young guy who came out?

Are we supposed to admire and adore him, just because he's attractive and he used to play football?

Meh. I'll save my admiration for someone more admirable.

by Anonymousreply 9December 12, 2024 4:41 AM

I mean it's a good reminder that even in this day and age the college sporting environment is not overly welcoming to gay male athletes.

by Anonymousreply 10December 12, 2024 4:58 AM

Not even remotely handsome, but I wish him all the best.

by Anonymousreply 11December 12, 2024 4:58 AM

I have to be honest, I'm getting tired of all these "coming out" videos.

There are literally THOUSANDS of them on YouTube.

And they're all the same.

The tears, the drama.... ugh.

I actually preferred when people just kept it to themselves.

by Anonymousreply 12December 12, 2024 5:06 AM

I think he's handsome. Good jawline.

by Anonymousreply 13December 12, 2024 5:37 AM

Thirst trap!

He was a long snapper, which means his position was “bent over, ass up”—presenting hole to the punter, in DL parlance.

by Anonymousreply 14December 12, 2024 1:33 PM

OF COURSE, he's hot. Why else would Outsports be covering him?

by Anonymousreply 15December 12, 2024 1:58 PM

R9 Ah, durrrrr

by Anonymousreply 16December 12, 2024 1:59 PM

I have followed him for awhile on Tik Tok and he went from a masc football player to a nelly queen in record time.

He's also wildly obnoxious and entitled but I suppose that could be said of most 19 year olds.

by Anonymousreply 17December 12, 2024 2:47 PM

"I have followed him for awhile on Tik Tok and he went from a masc football player to a nelly queen in record time."

As long as we're on the subject of nelly queens, WHET to Dylan, the former high school wrestler from the Chicago area who came out on DL?

Quit college, joined then quit the military, and for a while, was pimping out young guys to wealthy Hollywood types.

IIRC, he was last seen hiking across the country for some charity.

Anybody?

by Anonymousreply 18December 12, 2024 3:18 PM

[quote]I actually preferred when people just kept it to themselves.

You should do the same.

by Anonymousreply 19December 12, 2024 3:28 PM

[quote]As long as we're on the subject of nelly queens, WHET to Dylan, the former high school wrestler from the Chicago area who came out on DL?

You mean DL fav Dylan Geick who was a fixture in threads for a long time?

R9 = complete idiot who can't begin to understand the courage it takes for a kid from Texas who tried to hide his homosexuality by becoming a football player to finally come out at 19. I guess R9 is unaware of how many young men never find that courage and go on to lead lives of misery and dishonesty, often bringing sadness and hurt to others because of that.

by Anonymousreply 21December 12, 2024 3:34 PM

[quote]Not even remotely handsome.....

No, the issue here is that you could never even remotely pass a vision test.

by Anonymousreply 22December 12, 2024 3:37 PM

[quote]I think he's handsome. Good jawline.

Yes. I think in some photos he looks a little like a handsomer Zachary Quinto.

by Anonymousreply 23December 12, 2024 3:38 PM

Why does he keep kissing the damn camera. A flouncer!

by Anonymousreply 24December 12, 2024 3:49 PM

R21 And I think you're a goddamn drama queen. It's not 1951. Hell, it's not 2001.

Times have changed. I’m not saying the process is stress-free, but let’s be honest. He’s a good-looking, white, male, athlete. He ALREADY has the world at his feet. He will have ZERO problems being accepted, getting dick or making friends. The ONLY thing he’ll have to worry about is what lighting to use when building his modeling portfolio.

GTFOH

by Anonymousreply 25December 12, 2024 6:54 PM

It's not 1951, but it's still pretty rare for male athletes to come out. Especially in the big sports like football

by Anonymousreply 26December 12, 2024 6:58 PM

Just my type - a self-hating closet!

by Anonymousreply 27December 12, 2024 7:07 PM

Finally! The media is portraying a gay athlete who competes within their gender designation. 👏 👏

by Anonymousreply 28December 12, 2024 7:08 PM

R26 he was a snapper. At Rutgers! Pleeze.

by Anonymousreply 29December 12, 2024 7:21 PM

He seems to have gotten over his issues fast enough…he is whoring out for every product under the sun on his SM and he’s a “fashion model.”

by Anonymousreply 30December 12, 2024 7:22 PM

[quote] R26 he was a snapper. At Rutgers! Pleeze.

He's a "bend and snapper."

R28, they did that before. Did you forget Michael Sam or are you just looking for an excuse to bash trans people?

by Anonymousreply 33December 12, 2024 7:37 PM

FORMER college football player comes out as GAY GAY GAY!

And so what? He's not a college football player. This is pure attention seeking and thirst trapping.

Pretty sad.

by Anonymousreply 34December 12, 2024 7:40 PM

R25, your ignorance of how virulent homophobia can still be in 2024, and how completely unacceptable in certain places and situations and for certain types of people, is beyond shocking.

by Anonymousreply 35December 12, 2024 7:46 PM

[quote]FORMER college football player comes out as GAY GAY GAY! And so what? He's not a college football player.

But he's talking about how traumatic and damaging it was for him to have to hide his true self when he WAS playing football in college. And also, do you think it would be easy as pie for someone to blithely come out of the closet after going through all that, even if their current situation is far less homophobic?

I swear, some of you people are idiots or horribly insensitive, or both.

by Anonymousreply 36December 12, 2024 7:49 PM

I understand the retrospective assessment may have value but remaining in the closet in 2020s on the campus of a nationally known and respected Land-Grant State School was his choice, and not a courageous one.

by Anonymousreply 37December 12, 2024 7:53 PM

He played for one year, on special teams, for a shitty team. And is now marketing himself to death based on his “trauma.” Context!

by Anonymousreply 38December 12, 2024 7:53 PM

R37 uses the term “respected” loosely with respect to Rutgers….it would even make it into the top half of the UC system.

by Anonymousreply 39December 12, 2024 7:55 PM

R35 IS Mary!

by Anonymousreply 40December 12, 2024 7:56 PM

[quote] But he's talking about how traumatic and damaging it was for him to have to hide his true self when he WAS playing football in college.

Oh, please.

We all had it hard.

He's not special or unique.

Enough with the tears. Man up, and move on.

This attention whore is living in a time when it's a million times easier to come out, than it was even 25 years ago.

So quit your fucking whining.

by Anonymousreply 41December 12, 2024 8:01 PM

[quote]I understand the retrospective assessment may have value but remaining in the closet in 2020s on the campus of a nationally known and respected Land-Grant State School was his choice, and not a courageous one.

Since your comment makes no sense, I'm assuming you meant that you don't consider his decision to come OUT of the closet a courageous one. And I disagree with you on that.

In my opinion, it's still courageous in 2024 for almost any young person to decide to be open about their homosexuality, unless maybe they happen to be a member of a very woke, liberal family living in a very large, woke, liberal city. And even in a situation like that, coming out can still require courage, depending on the particular circumstances of that person's living situation.

by Anonymousreply 42December 12, 2024 8:03 PM

He went from this

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 43December 12, 2024 8:05 PM

He probably had a boner nonstop during his time on that team. I know I did.

I've told this story before. My public school district in the leafy affluent suburbs had a quite liberal teaching staff in the 1960s and 70s because it was a newly created district and it hired all these liberal kids fresh out of the teaching colleges of the day.

Some of our non-academic teachers moved around the levels and it happened that two gym teachers I had as a boy in elementary school were still my teachers and coaches in HS. One hated what a little fag I was at 10 and was always doing the drill sergeant with me. The other must have sussed me out too but his pedagogy was to give me what I wanted. I wanted to be A JOCK. And I was pretty good. And he coached me all the way through J HS and High School jr varsity and varsity - with a lot of skill helping me manage myself as a pretty thing on boys sports teams in the 70s, and keeping the fag bullying in check on teams he managed. All this mind you, and I was not out. I loved the competition and I loved the sports and my teammates and everything.

My point is, I am grateful I could be a HS jock. And I was often really, I dunno, turned on being a guy and succeeding in that male world.

Maybe he’s bisexual.

by Anonymousreply 46December 12, 2024 8:07 PM

R41, it still isn't very common for athletes or even EX athletes to come out. I know a former college football player from back in the day who is now ELDERLY and still isn't out to most people in his life.

Being a gay football player is not the same thing as being a gay interior decorator. There are still athletes out there making anti-gay comments

by Anonymousreply 47December 12, 2024 8:07 PM

[quote]He's not special or unique.

NO ONE, including this young man, is claiming that his situation is "special or unique." On the contrary, the point is that it's NOT unique. He makes that point the video, as a major reason for sharing it: to speak to many other young people who can relate, especially young men involved in athletics where homophobia is still rampant.

R41, you seem to have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

by Anonymousreply 48December 12, 2024 8:07 PM

R42 you misread me. I don't consider his decision to REMAIN in the closet on the Rutgers campus in the 2020s to be a courageous one. Sheesh.

He should have come out. And stood up for his right to be football player, or quit if he got too much slapback. He was over 18 and its 2020s for chrissakes. All campuses have DEI in place.

by Anonymousreply 49December 12, 2024 8:08 PM

Total bottom attention whore at R41.

His teammates looked annoyed by him.

And not because he's gay, but because he's ANNOYING.

by Anonymousreply 50December 12, 2024 8:09 PM

R42 You have an antiquated opinion of reality.

by Anonymousreply 51December 12, 2024 8:10 PM

R44 nothing special about your story either, although you seem special.

by Anonymousreply 52December 12, 2024 8:12 PM

No, R51, you have a delusional opinion of a reality that you know NOTHING about, undoubtedly because your situation is vastly different from that of this young man

by Anonymousreply 53December 12, 2024 8:13 PM

What I have seen watching, what, 15 years of these coming out reveals on social media?, is that you gotta have a gimmick. I'm sorry for them, but that's the way it works, so they all do it.

Sorry because the gimmicks are often contrived and dramatic.

Yes it's courageous to come out, I don't deny it. But his gimmick in the story? It just highlights that he did not have the character and balls to do it when it was necessary.

Nice that he's out now. I hope he gets lots of social media hits, and lots of dick.

by Anonymousreply 54December 12, 2024 8:17 PM

[quote]You misread me. I don't consider his decision to REMAIN in the closet on the Rutgers campus in the 2020s to be a courageous one.

And absolutely nowhere does this young man claim that his decision to remain in the closet was in any way remotely courageous. In fact, it's pretty clear that he feels it was a LACK of courage that caused him to make that decision.

I am truly sorry for you that your reading comprehension level seems to be stuck somewhere below second grade.

by Anonymousreply 55December 12, 2024 8:17 PM

I lived his experience before he did. I didn’t cry. I didn’t make a video to share my trauma. I didn’t monetize what I was going through.

I lived my best life.

by Anonymousreply 56December 12, 2024 8:19 PM

Precisely. SO he has utterly failed in his coming-out gimmick. You don't seem to have a nuanced total context of what we are watching here.

by Anonymousreply 57December 12, 2024 8:20 PM

For R53

by Anonymousreply 58December 12, 2024 8:20 PM

He's exhausting.

There is nothing special about this guy.

Just another attention whore.

R49, DEI doesn't make it any less hard for guys to come out in macho sports

by Anonymousreply 61December 12, 2024 8:27 PM

I don't think there's any special "gimmick" in his coming out video, nor did I express any opinion on how he has subsequently "monetized" his coming out. All I'm saying, and I hold to my opinion, is that I think it can still be courageous for young people to come out as gay in 2024, depending on their circumstances, and especially if they are male and have been involved in sports like football.

by Anonymousreply 62December 12, 2024 10:06 PM

[quote][R49], DEI doesn't make it any less hard for guys to come out in macho sports

Thank you, R61, but I'm afraid R49 etc. is a nasty bitch who cannot be reasoned with, so we should probably both stop trying :-)

by Anonymousreply 63December 12, 2024 10:08 PM

R62 you hold. We’ve evolved.

by Anonymousreply 64December 12, 2024 10:14 PM

R61 and this one didn't come out in college sports. In NJ. At the flagship state campus. What's your point? He certainly could have. Everyone knew. 🤪

by Anonymousreply 65December 12, 2024 10:27 PM

The only ones who could have given him lip were his teammates. Any coach or employee who countenanced bullying would lose his job. A good coach would lock down any personal abuse. It might not have been a cake walk. Or it might have been. We will never know until more HS and college gay football jocks just lay it on the line.

by Anonymousreply 66December 12, 2024 10:39 PM

When does he launch his OnlyFans ? That's all that matters...

by Anonymousreply 67December 13, 2024 12:02 AM

by Anonymousreply 70December 13, 2024 11:19 AM

And you know the five takes was to make sure the lighting was right.

by Anonymousreply 71December 13, 2024 11:28 AM

[quote][R25], your ignorance of how virulent homophobia can still be in 2024, and how completely unacceptable in certain places and situations and for certain types of people, is beyond shocking.

I mean....who's disputing that homophobia still exists in 2024? Again, you're so busy being offended that you’re missing my point. The coming out process is not the same as it was 50 years ago. It’s not even the same as it was 10 years ago. That’s an absolute fact. HE will have an easier time with it because HE hit the genetic lottery. These people just don't face the same kind of obstacles as us peons who haven't been graced by the hand of God. Good looks can overcome just about any bias. That’s all I’m saying.

by Anonymousreply 72December 13, 2024 11:50 AM

by Anonymousreply 73December 13, 2024 5:57 PM

If it were not on TikTok, it would not be official.

by Anonymousreply 74December 13, 2024 6:29 PM

Point very well taken, R45. This happens far too often and it's very disappointing.

I lived in San Francisco for a long time and it always made me roll my eyes when some of those guys all acted like they went to the same "finishing" school. I am remembering seeing a large group of that type at the movies at the Embarcadero cinema one weekend night. Not attractive. Get a real personality.

by Anonymousreply 75December 14, 2024 2:17 PM

I'm glad you're not too bitter about it, R72.

by Anonymousreply 76December 14, 2024 2:23 PM

This dude has a YouTube channel, as well.

by Anonymousreply 77December 14, 2024 2:29 PM

Edit to R75: It's very disappointing when this happens.

by Anonymousreply 78December 14, 2024 2:31 PM

R76 Nah, I was bitter when I was younger. Now, I'm just a pragmatist.

by Anonymousreply 79December 14, 2024 5:26 PM

I give him a couple years til he pulls a Colton and finds himself a rich benefactor, er.., husband and does the whole kid thing. Girl obviously grew up rich and has expensive taste, so needs a sugar daddy. She was a tubby gal when she was younger, though, so she better watch that.
