Kyrsten Sinema Casts First Vote in Weeks To Oppose Democratic Control of NLRB in Trump’s Next Term
Outgoing Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) voted for the first time in weeks on Wednesday to oppose the nomination of Lauren McFerran to continue serving on the National Labor Relations Board. Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV), another outgoing senator and former Democrat, also voted against the nomination.
The NLRB is a vital agency that oversees U.S. labor laws and rules on labor disputes, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practices. Its five members serve five-year terms. Currently, the board has three Democrats, one Republican, and one vacancy. McFerran, a Democrat, is the chair of the board, but her term expires next week.

Manchin and Sinema both helped to sink Biden's presidency. They should be ousted from the party.
No excuses.

What party? They both changed to Independent. Neither was a Democrat by any means. They just saw it as a convenient means to get elected.

This is what happens when your party sells out and has no clear core values. Sinema backfired on the corporate slave Dems.

Is she going have ANY juice when she retires from public service and tries to cash in? Does anyone like her or respect her? Surely even the Republicans think of her as a greasy turncoat.

Manchin, at least, will go in front of reporters and give his bullshit reasons for voting why he did. Sinema refuses to talk to any press or even any constituents about it.
She will *not* get a TV gig - she obviously hates TV. She's going to end up on a bunch of cushy corporate boards.

She does not like talking about her votes. She can still get a job on TV.
