Claims family gave millions to healthcare industry. This case and trial is about to be the new OJ. I want to fuck this dude so bad.
The Post is calling the Mangione’s Baltimore Royalty

Murdoch NY Post links give clickdollars and SEO to people who love Trump and hate gays.

Funny, because their house looks comfortably and uninterestingly upper middle class and no more than that.
If his family are philanthropists, more power to them, but I don't think they would consider themselves Baltimore royalty.

In their dreams!

I don’t think his family knew what was going down, it sounded like he separated himself from them.

I do think this case has all the makings of an OJ-style cultural touchstone. If they televise the trial — oh please God, please — then it will be absolutely huge. And unifying. This country needs something to get unified behind, and this would literally be the most American thing possible.
I am praying for an acquittal.

Only if King John Waters deigns a decree

Hyperbole is the stock and trade of tabloid journalism. This killer grew up in a house worth less than a million. The one known charitable donation so far by the grandfather is 1 million. One million is not MILLIONS AND MILLIONS and "royalty".

FOX "News" -- or Laura Ingram, at least -- was saying as much during the 20 seconds I caught her show last night while channel surfing.

If he has a good lawyer, they'll plea it down. Or, alternatively, they'll plead insanity.

It never fails to surprise me how few of the “he is a hero” people have thought through the implications of normalizing political violence. The Proud Boys can shoot too, and they cannot wait for an excuse to “fight back” and target anyone prominent to the left of Mussolini.

As if the current political situation doesn't warrant violence. Get real. A bit of political violence, especially after decades of nothing except for islamic terrorism on a global level, is normal and the *only* kind of violence that isn't totally futile and destructive to society.

Oh sweetie, that ship sailed on January 6, 2021. Were you passed out drunk that day?
And here's another FYI: the guy who organized and ran 1/6/21 is now going to be President again on 01/20/25.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 11, 2024 3:25 PM |
Of course there is no such thing as Baltimore Royalty. Typical Post BS.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 11, 2024 4:10 PM |
Get back to me after right wing extremists visit some political violence on you, R16, and explain then how necessary it is.

Will they allow him to do OnlyFans from behind bars?

So? Revolution often starts from the top down. Presidents Roosevelt betrayed their class, as did the Kennedy's. The list is long.

If the body is fit, you must acquit!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 11, 2024 9:02 PM |
R6 …. Acquittal? We’re going to start acquitting murderers? Can we acquit Chris Watts then, please?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 11, 2024 9:05 PM |
R17, can you confirm who committed pre-meditated murder of an innocent person on 1/6?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 11, 2024 9:07 PM |
R18, I agree. Clickbate

The poor defense can only hope for leniency now. You can't create reasonable doubt when there is actual photographic evidence of Luigi doing it, plus fingerprint and shell casing matches.

Plus, the lunatic Luigi is likely to shout out a confession in court regardless of what his attorney tells him.

FREE LUIGI!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 11, 2024 9:27 PM |
What kind of case for leniency could they possibly argue? The guy had too much money and therefore deserved to die?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 11, 2024 9:29 PM |
R30 I was thinking the judge could be lenient possibly if the defense argues Luigi is completely nuts.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 11, 2024 9:31 PM |
R24 - Sure, why not? It was just done for Daniel Penny.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 11, 2024 9:32 PM |
I heard the defense may ask Luigi during the trial to try on a condom found at the scene. If it doesn't fit...
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 11, 2024 9:34 PM |
R19 - I think you might want to consider your memory care facility options.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 11, 2024 9:34 PM |
They could, but either way he’s going to prison. I don’t know how well the nuts defense will work. The guy methodically labeled each of the three bullets he shot. He was in full capacity of his thoughts and emotions
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 11, 2024 9:35 PM |
R32, you don’t understand self defense. Should the black men who were helping Daniel Penny restrain Jordan go to jail too, in your view?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 11, 2024 9:36 PM |
I blew Luigi Mangione!
