Is there any ID on the person at McDonald’s who called the cops on Luigi Mangione?

The information has got to come out at some point. All I can gather from various news stories is they’re “elderly,” and female. Some say she way an employee, but others claim she was a customer.

by Anonymousreply 60December 15, 2024 1:48 AM

Yes they’re being really tight-lipped about it. Not surprising. Social media will tear the person to shreds. PA law enforcement publicly calling the person a “hero” isn’t helping things.

It was this guy.

There was a news story (I can’t find now) with a quote where one of the PA law enforcement said the woman told Luigi she’d called the police and he needed to wait there. And he did. Did that really happen?

by Anonymousreply 3December 10, 2024 5:17 PM

I'm also hearing that it's quite possible that Luigi told the worker to call so they'd get the money.

by Anonymousreply 4December 10, 2024 5:18 PM

Why OP? You want to kill her?

by Anonymousreply 5December 10, 2024 5:20 PM

Leave them alone OP, they didn’t do anything wrong even if the victim was a total douche-cunt.

by Anonymousreply 6December 10, 2024 5:20 PM

I just hope they get the reward. They did more than the cops did.

by Anonymousreply 7December 10, 2024 5:26 PM

OP obviously they wouldn't release their name. The Internet is on Luigi's side. That person would get tons of hate and harassment for turning him in.

by Anonymousreply 8December 10, 2024 5:29 PM

The leftwing is having a field glorifying murder, but will they extend cancel culture to hurting or killing the employee who did her civic duty by calling the police? It looks likely. The employee should be rewarded, but her identity kept secret to protect her from all the mentally damaged people.

by Anonymousreply 9December 10, 2024 6:05 PM

^ field day

by Anonymousreply 10December 10, 2024 6:05 PM

You're cute, r9. This isn't about left and right. This is about up and down/superrich vs. everyone else. Everyone understands why this man was murdered and most get it. Even right wing people with guns get their healthcare denied.

Have the day you deserve, cunt.

by Anonymousreply 11December 10, 2024 6:09 PM

R9 is Hortense the MAGA cunt, unable to get any traction on Nazi platform X, so she's coming here to try and stir up shit.

by Anonymousreply 12December 10, 2024 6:11 PM

Well, she's going to get called out every time. Not so much for her, but so the world can see how to argue with these assholes, let alone be susceptible to their arguments.

by Anonymousreply 13December 10, 2024 6:12 PM

This is really horrible to try get revenge on a McDonald's worker. This guy Luigi KNEW he was going to get busted or he would have exited the US or at least moved from the east coast.

by Anonymousreply 14December 10, 2024 6:34 PM

The US for-profit health insurance scam can't be vilified enough.

Still, if I knew for sure I identified Mangione, I'd have to weigh the risk on my conscience that if I didn't call it in and he killed an innocent child caught in a cross-fire trying to bring him in, or he killed just another poor person just trying to get by...

how would I live with myself?

There's more to all of this than just thinking, "Cool. Let Robin Hood get away."

by Anonymousreply 15December 10, 2024 6:38 PM

I wouldn't have ratted him out. Personal decision, I know, but I would have nodded and went about my day.

by Anonymousreply 16December 10, 2024 6:40 PM

[quote] I'd have to weigh the risk on my conscience that if I didn't call it in and he killed an innocent child caught in a cross-fire trying to bring him in, or he killed just another poor person just trying to get by...

It’s all about you, eh r15?

Oblivious self centered cunt

by Anonymousreply 17December 10, 2024 6:45 PM

I would’ve told him to alter his appearance and stay out of public places

by Anonymousreply 18December 10, 2024 6:50 PM

I would have clicked out, grabbed a sixer of hash browns, and lured him into my car. Then, driven him back to my apartment and explained to him that he needed a better disguise 🥸.

My mouth around his meat would definitely have hidden him from law enforcement and he would still be a free man.

by Anonymousreply 19December 10, 2024 6:56 PM

I think we can be fairly certain there were many who recognized him from the news pictures, or in person on the run, but said nothing on principle.

by Anonymousreply 20December 10, 2024 7:00 PM

Saw this remark, and I agree. " Babes... no one called in a tip at the McDonalds. We live in a digital world where law enforcement used its illegal anti-domestic-terrorism tools to pinpoint this guy's location.

There was no McDonald's customer calling it in. 10 to 1 the supposed individual will also be denied the reward money due to some kind of "technicality."

by Anonymousreply 21December 10, 2024 7:12 PM

I see my stalker is back at r17.

No, it's not all about me, you moron. That's my fucking point at r15.

Nobody knows his frame of mind, only that he killed somebody, openly, on a street, and is on the run.

It's a personal choice, and a gigantic, prospective What If?

But What If I didn't inform the police and he killed a child, adult or both, just minding there own business, after I saw him? and could have turned him in before that happened, but I didn't?

So to the extent that I wouldn't want that to happen and that I wouldn't want that on my conscience, i stand by my post at r15.

Now stop stalking me, 'ya creepy weirdo.

by Anonymousreply 22December 10, 2024 7:29 PM

R22 self centered much?

I haven’t responded to your trash posts in years

But do go on…keep embarrassing yourself

by Anonymousreply 23December 10, 2024 7:41 PM

As predicted, it turns out the McDonald’s employee who called police to snitch on Luigi might not get the reward money because they called 911 instead of the tip line. Surprise! They have rules you know. Sucker.

by Anonymousreply 24December 10, 2024 11:56 PM

They’ll loose their “job” too. They’ve plummeted that McDonald’s location reputation to hell. They got bombed with bad reviews on all the apps, and I’m sure weirdos and pranksters are showing up.

It’s not just most of the country who hates the person, but likely the manager and staff too.

Talk about hard life lessons.

by Anonymousreply 25December 11, 2024 12:01 AM

What a shame.

by Anonymousreply 26December 11, 2024 12:01 AM

It's almost as if their claim was denied, R24.

by Anonymousreply 27December 11, 2024 12:10 AM

McDonalds could simply go belly up.

by Anonymousreply 28December 11, 2024 12:15 AM

It was my friend Julie who snitched. I hate her.

by Anonymousreply 29December 11, 2024 12:23 AM

The employee will be celebrated by locals for catching the killer in their midst. There's no question Mangione would have been another Andrew Cunanan on a killing spree. The only difference is that Mangione killed his top victim first.

by Anonymousreply 30December 11, 2024 12:55 AM

…and Cunanan killed his bottom victim last!

by Anonymousreply 31December 11, 2024 1:44 AM

Don’t these photos look staged? The one where he’s holding the hash brown… it’s like he’s just posing like that.

by Anonymousreply 32December 11, 2024 1:51 PM

This looks like he used his phone camera to take this photo himself and just froze in place while the timer counted down.

by Anonymousreply 33December 11, 2024 1:54 PM

Why isn’t his mouth open?

by Anonymousreply 34December 11, 2024 1:54 PM

Can’t blame McDonald’s worker for wanting reward money after what fast food pays.

by Anonymousreply 35December 11, 2024 3:15 PM

R35 And it turns out they might not get it. Sad!

by Anonymousreply 36December 11, 2024 3:43 PM

R36 If that happens, there will be a huge public outcry.

by Anonymousreply 37December 11, 2024 3:45 PM

by Anonymousreply 42December 11, 2024 10:01 PM

Why wouldn't she get the money

by Anonymousreply 43December 11, 2024 10:53 PM

Exactly like I pictured her

by Anonymousreply 44December 11, 2024 11:01 PM

I wish I had the ability to shit on command at businesses that piss me off.

by Anonymousreply 45December 11, 2024 11:17 PM

killed a child

What a cunt, always invoke the fucking children, then realize what you said and added the adults in, there's always collateral damage, THIS IS THE FUCKING PAIN, did you slither from under a rock?

by Anonymousreply 46December 11, 2024 11:28 PM

How much do you want to bet she's a MAGAT?

by Anonymousreply 47December 11, 2024 11:48 PM

Everyone in Altoona is a MAGAT.

by Anonymousreply 48December 11, 2024 11:54 PM

Rich 26 yo with a surfing injury stalks stranger and shoots him in the back. Shaking like a leaf when caught. No hero here.

by Anonymousreply 49December 11, 2024 11:56 PM

Why didn't he just pluck the eyebrows and wear a Covid mask everywhere? In winter it's easy to go incognito. Where was he headed? Why was he hanging around?

He almost got away. He could have easily escaped to a Latin or Mediterranean country and totally blended in forever.

by Anonymousreply 50December 12, 2024 12:34 AM

It's Nosy Parker!

leave her alone.

by Anonymousreply 51December 12, 2024 12:47 AM

It was my friend Julie. Julie is a real cunt.

by Anonymousreply 52December 12, 2024 12:51 AM

There are millions of American men who look like him.

by Anonymousreply 53December 12, 2024 1:21 AM

Still don’t think we’re getting the true story about his “capture” here. So much about it seems off. There’s like ten different versions of each detail. The photos look weird. A lot doesn’t make sense.

by Anonymousreply 54December 12, 2024 2:45 AM

I love how the cops had absolutely NOTHING...no leads, no name, no motive, no whereabouts, until the elderly McDonald's workers phoned in a sighting.

by Anonymousreply 58December 12, 2024 4:31 PM

Didn't these McDonald's morons know that whoever ratted out Luigi would find themselves in the middle of a shitstorm? Perhaps others recognized him and did nothing because they knew what would happen and didn't want the drama.

by Anonymousreply 59December 12, 2024 4:33 PM

R55 Remembered your comment when reading SFPD relayed the ID of the suspect to LE back east.
