This will guarantee his nomination. That's how Trump and cronies work.

How anyone could look at his boiled assface and think: "Yes! This guy should be in charge of America's HEALTH!" is beyond my comprehension.
He looks two trips in tanning booth away from being able to be used as a jacket and boot ensemble by a fat, middle aged biker from Vegas.

Do you think he knows how hideously ugly he looks?

It just amazes me that this guy is the son of one of my all-time political heroes.
NETFLIX has an excellent documentary on his father. RFK, Sr. was a compassionate senator who was leading in the polls when he was assassinated in 1968. A heartbreaking moment which resulted in the election of Richard Milhouse Nixon.

This crowd disdains expertise of any kind. It really is the revenge of the cranks.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 10, 2024 2:54 PM |
R8, before retiring, I had two framed photos of RFK in my professional office, so I bow to no one in the admiration I had for Bobby’s father. But I’ve long believed his only (slim) chance of winning that nomination - & beating the machine that his mortal enemy, LBJ, still controlled - was sweeping the primaries. His loss, the week before California, in Oregon, the first ever for a Kennedy, for all intents and purposes put an end to his presidential ambitions that year.

Bobby Kennedy Sr. telling a campaign crowd of mostly African-American voters in Indiana that Dr. King had been killed.
Those in the crowd had been waiting to see Kennedy for hours and were unaware of Dr. Kings' assassination.
Kennedy would be killed two months later:

The use of a letter signed by a list of people who are supposed to be experts no longer works as a tactic. The use of the letter falsely calling Hunter’s laptop disinformation killed it.

Trump will throw shade at the Nobel Laureates - a) because he thinks he should have the prize, like Obama; and b) because said Laureates represent the very best of humanity in offering concrete advances across all disciplines - which manifest superiority the dim-witted narcissist simply cannot tolerate.

The Secretary of HHS is not “in charge of America's HEALTH." The U.S. does not have a single, national healthcare system.

It doesn’t matter he’s a serial adulterer. Or that he’s a serial sex abuser. It doesn’t matter that he’s a complete lunatic who goes randomly butchering helpless wildlife and straps them to his car. It doesn’t matter that he’s a complete wack job that willing admits to using heroin for 15 years or abuses steroids now. It doesn’t matter that he’s has no medical training or training but runs around flacking that life saving vaccines and medications are fraudulent. None of it matters because Trump and therefore MAGA approves of him and wants him in charge.

This kind of thing gives Trump an erection. “Coastal elites object to Trump’s picks.” Red meat for his flyover moron base.

Never mind both Kennedy and Trump are "coastal elites." It's all optics for the MAGAts.
When are we going to stop deifying the Kennedy clan? They're every bit the dirtball scumbags that Trump is, including this clown, his father, his paternal uncles and grandfather.

The less qualified and/or corrupt an individual is for a given government position or agency head, the more reason for Trump to appoint him. The objective is not to improve what the government does, it is to destroy it from within.

R4 have you ever tried to listen to him speak for more than 10 seconds?? His voice is excruciating irritating to listen to. I don’t know what happened to his vocal chords but they’re stripped and make his voice awful to hear

No it’s not the same. But it is similar.
I remember something very similar when 1000s of dems, gays, public health professionals, and liberals etc rose up and said no to the president. It was roar of NO
The president said——fuck you and went right ahead and made the appointment he wanted.
Dr Koop
In this case everyone was wrong,

Speaking of health, I see that Gov. Sanders is calling for a favorite proposal of DL, to stop SNAP benefits from being used to buy junk food. That will be popular with taxpayers and good for recipients.

The anti-science and anti critical thinking cranks have finally taken over. Decades of progress in medicine and civility are being destroyed swiftly. Think of all the young people who contracted polio and either died or were left with serious lifelong health issues before the polio vaccine was rolled out. You don't think they would have dreamed of having the incredible benefits of the polio vaccine? This is an crime against our civilization that such deluded people and charlatans who should be ostracized from our society and condemned are instead in charge and going to be setting policy.
