Absurdly so. They may have a difficult time finding an impartial jury, and I suggest they draw exclusively from the legally blind.

by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 9, 2024 7:09 PM |
I was not expecting the pecs! And he looks kind of sweet natured in the photos, not at all the 'Dead Eyes' thing you often see in a killer's back story.
This one is most unusual.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 9, 2024 7:12 PM |
According to datalounge he was a Colombian woman with a prosthetic chin so this is very surprising

I think he's a bit on the spectrum, very focused, but can't multitask. Thus the confusing mix of cleverness and messiness in his crime. He has a bachelor's and master's in comp science, and also read body building books, in addition to being "anti-capitalist". I would say he's intel-adjacent and obviously he went insane sometime in his 20s. He may have little sexual experience.

"Imagine a society that subjects people to conditions that make them terribly unhappy then gives them the drugs to take away their unhappiness," a Kaczynski quote liked by Mangione read.
"Science fiction It is already happening to some extent in our own society. Instead of removing the conditions that make people depressed modern society gives them antidepressant drugs."
"In effect, antidepressants are a means of modifying an individualâs internal state in such a way as to enable him to tolerate social conditions that he would otherwise find intolerable."

From struggling with girls to being angry with "the system," I'm genuinely worried about Gen Z males, my baby brothers and their friends included. They're pissed off and seem to have mentally embraced the DOOMER guy aesthetic.

I posted about my 26 year old nephew being the same age as Daniel Penny and Luigi Mangione.
At one point my nephew started acting FUCKING CRAZY because he was on Adderall.
He would be out digging holes in the yard late at night, acting crazy and manic, speaking in rapid fire sentences and rambling, and he couldn't sit still.
A side effect was the same type of body as Luigi, because it's basically like meth, so it makes you really skinny.
His parents forced him to get off of Adderall, even though he kept begging for it.

Tuition grants aren't the same as covering living expenses, and literally every Ivy grad I know has student debt from that alone, even if their tuition was covered.

"At University of Pennsylvania, the median federal loan debt among borrowers who completed their undergraduate degree is $15,715".
That is for 4 years, at school with the current 4 year sticker price of 360K
Many many students at state colleges graduate with much higher loans.
The only people pay outrageously for Ivy League undergrad degrees are those from very rich families.

At what point does opposition to something, turn into murder?
I think that people who kill other people, definitely have a screw loose. It takes a lot to cross that line.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old tech whiz suspected of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week, allegedly used a ghost gun that he might have made on a 3-D printer to commit the killing, authorities said.
âHe was in possession of a ghost gun that had the capability of firing a 9-mm round and a suppressor,â NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a Monday press briefing, adding that the piece âmay have been made on a 3-D printer.â

He apologized for any trauma he inflicted â likely alluding to his alleged execution-style shooting of Thompson, 50, in busy Midtown last week â but said âit had to be done.â

He obviously was in intense pain, but why the Health Insurance exec? Obviously this person would not have been unable to access medical care, with his wealth and privilege. Why single out the CEO?
I also sense that his family may have ostracized him, perhaps because they saw latent mental illness becoming more prevalent and wished he would just go away. Rich people are like that.

- UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was in the middle of a federal lawsuit for INSIDER TRADING and fraud
- he said he works with NANCY PELOSI to get grants
- Nancy Pelosi traded on inside information right BEFORE UnitedHealthcare had a huge data leak
- Nancy Pelosi bought Palo Alto shares right BEFORE United Healthcare announced their recent security breach
- Palo Alto Networks is a cybersecurity company partnered with UnitedHealth Group to secure their systems after a cyberattack
Iâm sure these are all huge coincidences

Explaining the injury that Mangione had suffered after a back condition called spondylolisthesis was worsened by a surfing accident Martin said: 'His spine was kind of misaligned.

Martin told CNN that Mangione, who he described as a bright engineer, suffered from debilitating pain throughout his six month stay at SurfBreak during 2022.
He said a single surf lesson left Mangione 'in bed for a week' afterwards, adding: 'It was really traumatic and difficult, you know, when youâre in your early twenties and you canât, you know, do some basic things.'

Being a neinsager contrarian is not the only way to have a conversation. Sure "Dillinger capitalists" are arguably evil, or immoral. However that is meme, not information about an individual. The murdered CEO was a contributing member of society on terms most Americans are comfortable with. Not the radical left, perhaps. Most Americans, quite stupid and ignorant about political economy, thing everything about American capitalism is just dandy. That we have the best schools, the best health care, the most opportunities for upward mobility. All bullshit. But they believe this.
by Anonymous | reply 445 | December 10, 2024 6:57 PM |
If the greedy immoral CEOs are evil for their pure capitalism, what about all the middle class and wealthy people who vote for governments and system that returns on stock and real estate investments. "In response to widespread public criticism following the murder of its CEO Brian Thompson, UnitedHealthcare has circulated talking points to its employees.
Characteristically out-of-touch, the communications guidance directs employees to say that their mission includes âensuring that everyone we have the privilege to service has access to the health care they need.â Not being able to access care is, of course, the entire reason so many people are furious at the health insurance industry in the first place. The same glib tone is evident throughout the talking points, one of which instructs employees to refer to the late CEO Thompson as âour esteemed colleagueâ and a âhighly respected professionalâ â descriptions that are quite different than those Iâve heard from the rank-and-file employees I interviewed."

The Mangione Manifesto:
âTo the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.â

Google removes 1-star McDonaldâs reviews after worker turns in Luigi Mangione, UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompsonâs alleged killer
âMore like Narc-donaldsâŚ.I hope obesity and heart disease are in-network in PA,â one user wrote.
âDeny, defend, depose, diarrhea @ McDonaldâs,â they added, a reference to the eerie message found on the bullets used to kill Thompson.
The words on the bullets â âdeny,â âdeposeâ and âdefendâ â bear resemblance to a 2010 book condemning the healthcare industry.
Soon after reports of the arrest emerged, other users wrote reviews claiming that rats ran rampant in the restaurant kitchen.

[quote] After six months of living at Surfbreak, Mangione left to see his doctor on the East Coast, Martin (Mangione's friend) said. He came back to Honolulu after and rented an apartment in the same neighborhood, the NYT reported. Then, Mangione left Hawaii in the summer of 2023 and Martin texted him in August asking how Mangione was doing after his back surgery. Mangione sent Martin scans of his spine after the back operation, Martin said.
[quote] âHe sent me the X-rays,â Martin said to CNN. âIt looked heinous, with just giant screws going into his spine.â
[quote] Martin told the NYT he asked how Mangione was feeling after seeing the photos.
[quote] âSo, long story,â Mangione replied. âWill fill ya in in person. Back in Hawaii as soon as I can, I have to figure out some spine stuff here first.â

He had a psychotic break of some kind in 2024. We won't type the word schiz.... since it's been banned from the discussion by snippy hall monitors.

Watching AC and a clueless group of talking heads discuss this on CNN. Oblivious as to why this guy is gaining hero status on social media.
by Anonymous | reply 569 | December 11, 2024 8:31 AM |
Social media needs material. Personalities and events. Luigi is good material.
by Anonymous | reply 570 | December 11, 2024 8:36 AM |
Well at least social media is not preaching at their viewers like Anderson and his Silos or Meka rimming the orange hole.
I am really getting tired of legacy media or cable news host thinking they have the moral authority to preach to their viewers. "don't turn this killer into a hero", "there are dark corners of the web who are praising this murder" So YouTube, IG, FB, TikTok are all dark corners of the web now? These media bitches need to take their own advice and just read the news and stop spreading their own agenda that's in conflict with 90% of the population.
If Americans what to turn this guy into some activist hero let them. Isn't that was freedom is all about? The right to think differently without persecution? Even if you disagree with it?

I've yet to see a single photo in which he appears to be insane or scary or evil. That's probably a first in anal crime history.

Look at that cop grabbing the back of his throat - can't blame him for being pissed off

Yeah, the media picked the 3 seconds he's pissed while a cop is digging his fingers into the back of his neck. Legacy media is really trying hard to stop his popularity.

Indeed.
They and their CORPORATE OVERLORDS have a vested interest in making this kid the enemy.
I hope someone sets up a legal fund for him, because I'd like to donate.
We need to make sure that he is acquitted of any charges.
FUCK THE MEDIA!

R573 I don't find him scary in that photo. He looks angry but not like an insane dangerous maniac.
by Anonymous | reply 579 | December 11, 2024 10:11 AM |
My initial response to his appearance was that he looks like the actor in Red White & Royal Blue, who is not Nicholas Galitzine. Only a bit younger, and a bit less pretty.
by Anonymous | reply 580 | December 11, 2024 10:20 AM |
He was better looking when younger, I saw his high school grad speech

Does anyone remember a brilliant episode of CSI where an old lady, refused essential treatment by her healthcare company, drives her car into a restaurant, mistaking it for the Insurance company next door?

Indeed, legacy media holds its blowhard mic and makes its would-be tone-setting noises. To no avail. The freedom to find some broad worth in the dynamic created by LM, however lawless, will only strengthen in the face of top-down finger-wagging.

R575 a woke king that likes Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, was against man hating feminism and literally said things like "wokeism needs racism to exist, so itâs always looking to pathologize new things as racist.â
Dude, do better research.

The problem is that this situation will escalate and could potentially lead to the goddamned Purge.
I am genuinely shocked by how many people are completely overlooking the fact that a man with an agenda assassinated this guy. Is this considered a good idea in today's climate, especially when our upcoming President has faced two assassination attempts in just a few months?
Do we really need this to become a thing? All the support for this nutjob's action is only going to encourage further nutjobs, and it will become a thing.
