The socialite tragically fell to her death while smoking. Ms. Featherston was known for being the life of the party. She had no husband.
This scene is horrific but lowkey funny.

Next to Amalita Amalfi, Lexi was the best one episode wonder on SATC.

[quote]She had no husband.
I'm willing to bet she had many husbands. Just not her own.

R8 I think Lexi was the best one episode character of the entire series

New York is over. O-V-E-R. Over! No one's fun anymore! What ever happened to fun?!
GOD, I'm so bored, I COULD DIE!

Should have been the series finale.

No husband but had she taken a luvah?

If anyone deserves a resurgence, it's Kristen Johnson. She was fine on the last few years of "Mom," but where is her prestige streamer?
Also, if you haven't read her autobiography, "Guts," please do so ASAP. Hilarious and brutally honest about herself.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 9, 2024 8:10 PM |
She was right about everything.

I always thought Lexi was played by Kirstie Alley. You learn something new every day, r18.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 9, 2024 8:59 PM |
R20 Scientology refused to allow Kirstie Alley to appear in Frasier, why do you think they'd let her appear in Sex and the City?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 9, 2024 9:41 PM |
I never watched "Mom" - I just remember her from Third Rock.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 9, 2024 10:06 PM |
I'm not a Kirstie Alley expert, r21. I just vaguely know her face and voice.

R25 lol tell Lexi that

She was also in a sitcom called "The Exes" with Wayne Knight, Donald Faison, and David Alan Basche. Ran for 64 episodes (2011-2015) on TVLand (part of their short-lived foray into original programming.)

R27 I remember TV Land having that Fran Drescher show too

Great character. Seen so many women like that cunting around NYC. Former hotties but now played out. The guys with big money look right past them to the younger, prettier, tighter girls. They become bitter drunks and albatrosses around their gay friends necks. They end up moving to DC or Boston where things really go south for them. Then they end up back in their hometowns helping care for decrepit parents. They are devoted aunts but just so damn angry.

r28 "Happily Divorced." They had some decent shows -- "Hot in Cleveland" probably being the most successful. And "Younger."

Kristen Johnston deserved an Emmy for this. It was the only moment of the last season that was worth watching. She out acted SJP, Candace Bergen and the guy from my dinner with andre.

R31 What was the one with the Muppet-type of characters
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 10, 2024 1:11 AM |
I thought she won an Emmy for her role

r21 "Scientology refused to allow Kirstie Alley to appear in Frasier"
Really? Never heard that

She was also in a very funny episode of Modern Family as a needy divorcee staying over, and Cam and Mitchell tried to keep her off their new expensive white couch. Brenda, "the pretty one."
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 10, 2024 3:57 PM |
She was good in Mom, too, which she joined in season 4 or 5.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 10, 2024 6:46 PM |
