This scene is horrific but lowkey funny.

by Anonymousreply 1December 9, 2024 6:04 PM

I’m so bored I could die.

by Anonymousreply 2December 9, 2024 6:08 PM

FUCK YOU CARRIE BRADSHAW!

by Anonymousreply 3December 9, 2024 6:09 PM

You shut up, fucking geriatric.

by Anonymousreply 4December 9, 2024 6:11 PM

Love Kristen Johnston

by Anonymousreply 5December 9, 2024 6:12 PM

Next to Amalita Amalfi, Lexi was the best one episode wonder on SATC.

by Anonymousreply 8December 9, 2024 6:25 PM

[quote]She had no husband.

I'm willing to bet she had many husbands. Just not her own.

by Anonymousreply 9December 9, 2024 6:26 PM

R8 I think Lexi was the best one episode character of the entire series

by Anonymousreply 10December 9, 2024 6:33 PM

New York is over. O-V-E-R. Over! No one's fun anymore! What ever happened to fun?!

GOD, I'm so bored, I COULD DIE!

by Anonymousreply 11December 9, 2024 6:46 PM

Should have been the series finale.

by Anonymousreply 12December 9, 2024 6:55 PM

Tragically funny

by Anonymousreply 13December 9, 2024 7:32 PM

No one does coke anymore!

by Anonymousreply 14December 9, 2024 7:41 PM

I'd watch Kristen Johnson in ANYTHING.

by Anonymousreply 15December 9, 2024 7:46 PM

There is no outside. It's fucking snowing.

by Anonymousreply 16December 9, 2024 7:51 PM

No husband but had she taken a luvah?

by Anonymousreply 17December 9, 2024 8:03 PM

If anyone deserves a resurgence, it's Kristen Johnson. She was fine on the last few years of "Mom," but where is her prestige streamer?

Also, if you haven't read her autobiography, "Guts," please do so ASAP. Hilarious and brutally honest about herself.

by Anonymousreply 18December 9, 2024 8:10 PM

She was right about everything.

by Anonymousreply 19December 9, 2024 8:19 PM

I always thought Lexi was played by Kirstie Alley. You learn something new every day, r18.

by Anonymousreply 20December 9, 2024 8:59 PM

R20 Scientology refused to allow Kirstie Alley to appear in Frasier, why do you think they'd let her appear in Sex and the City?

by Anonymousreply 21December 9, 2024 9:41 PM

I never watched "Mom" - I just remember her from Third Rock.

by Anonymousreply 22December 9, 2024 10:06 PM

I'm not a Kirstie Alley expert, r21. I just vaguely know her face and voice.

by Anonymousreply 23December 9, 2024 10:18 PM

One of the most iconic TV deaths of all time

by Anonymousreply 24December 9, 2024 10:19 PM

Copycat cunt…

R25 lol tell Lexi that

by Anonymousreply 26December 9, 2024 11:27 PM

She was also in a sitcom called "The Exes" with Wayne Knight, Donald Faison, and David Alan Basche. Ran for 64 episodes (2011-2015) on TVLand (part of their short-lived foray into original programming.)

R27 I remember TV Land having that Fran Drescher show too

by Anonymousreply 28December 9, 2024 11:47 PM

"It was the first time Lexi had ever left a party early"...

by Anonymousreply 29December 10, 2024 12:22 AM

Great character. Seen so many women like that cunting around NYC. Former hotties but now played out. The guys with big money look right past them to the younger, prettier, tighter girls. They become bitter drunks and albatrosses around their gay friends necks. They end up moving to DC or Boston where things really go south for them. Then they end up back in their hometowns helping care for decrepit parents. They are devoted aunts but just so damn angry.

by Anonymousreply 30December 10, 2024 12:44 AM

r28 "Happily Divorced." They had some decent shows -- "Hot in Cleveland" probably being the most successful. And "Younger."

by Anonymousreply 31December 10, 2024 12:53 AM

Kristen Johnston deserved an Emmy for this. It was the only moment of the last season that was worth watching. She out acted SJP, Candace Bergen and the guy from my dinner with andre.

by Anonymousreply 32December 10, 2024 12:58 AM

R31 What was the one with the Muppet-type of characters

by Anonymousreply 33December 10, 2024 1:11 AM

I thought she won an Emmy for her role

by Anonymousreply 34December 10, 2024 2:37 AM

r21 "Scientology refused to allow Kirstie Alley to appear in Frasier"

Really? Never heard that

by Anonymousreply 35December 10, 2024 2:48 AM

R35 Yeah, they do not support psychiatry

by Anonymousreply 36December 10, 2024 3:25 AM

She was also in a very funny episode of Modern Family as a needy divorcee staying over, and Cam and Mitchell tried to keep her off their new expensive white couch. Brenda, "the pretty one."

by Anonymousreply 37December 10, 2024 3:57 PM

She was good in Mom, too, which she joined in season 4 or 5.

by Anonymousreply 38December 10, 2024 6:46 PM

She's hilarious
