That was some quick thinking!

If he was still in his seat when the coaster started going down, he would have fallen off.

Absolutely terrifying.

And all he was offered was a "refund." OMG.

I had that happen once on the Great American Scream machine in Atlanta. The lap bar just popped up! But I pushed it back down and it relocked ring before we went down the big drop. I told the the attendants but they didn't seem to care. I was a kid didn't think too much of it.

I was on a shitty carnival ride once (Octopus?) and the bar came undone. I spent about two minutes on the floor of the car became slammed around. Terrifying.
