Welcome to Nazi America. He should have been prosecuted. Oh well.
I might have a stroke if I don't learn how to deal with this shit.

Mary, don’t get upset about it.
There will be political repercussions for all this shit that nobody voted for. Once these people are released and start mouthing off in the media, the majority will be appalled.
This will all be around the time of the confirmation hearings. None of it is going to look good.
If only we could count on the media to do their job. But we can’t.

Don't count on it. The last several years have shown that many Americans are willing to overlook Trump World's criminal proclivities.

It's all posturing and won't change anything.

R4 One thing about Trump, he usually does what he says unless it’s something impossible like the fucking wall.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 9, 2024 7:15 AM |
Where are Biden's pardons for the committees? Sheesh he is sloooooooooooow!

R5 COMPLETE FANTASY. His promised programs and fantastic results?? Where?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 9, 2024 7:16 AM |
R5 I don't doubt that he'll do it, just that him doing it won't change anyone's opinions about him or how they vote.

Judging by MSNBC's ratings, liberals have decided to ignore the next four years.

Jan 6 was such a huge, fat-assed embarrassment for the USA. Their best and brightest were nowhere near the capitol building on that day.

Trump and the Jan 6 rioters belong in prison.

I can’t wait to see this guy Mussolini-ed in the town square

R3, all the last few years have proven is that people don’t have the attention span for it.
There was no great, demonstrable show of support for Trump at the NY trials don’t get ahead of your skis.
Eventually people will wake up and go, “Why is this happening…?”

He has to, or one of the domestic terrorist militias will assassinate him.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 9, 2024 8:07 PM |
Trump said he might jail January 6 inquiry members but mostly he will focus on”Drill baby drill”. He is like the villain of a bad 80s action comedy.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 9, 2024 10:27 PM |
If they believe it doesn't affect them directly, people just aren't going to care.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 9, 2024 11:47 PM |
He wants to be POTUS for 4 reasons, and 4 reasons only. Avoid prison, make as much money as possible, take revenge on his real or imagined enemies. and stay on TV and get lots of fuel for his ego. he cares nothing about anything nor anyone else. he would sell America for a few bucks. so maybe releasing those deplorable losers will feed his ego and keep him in the press - but he's not worried about re-election and he's not going to make any money from it - so we will see.

This is what America voted for—pardons for those attempting a coup

One supposes Merrick Garland is delighted. He’s responsible for Trump escaping prosecution with his outrageous delays.
