Wallace Shawn
Does anyone else love Wallace Shawn?
He can do almost anything; My Dinner with Andre, The Bostonians, The Princess Bride, Prick Up Your Ears, Toy Story, A Late Quartet, A Master Builder, and countless other film, television, and theatre roles.
He is the type of actor you just can't help but smile when he is on the screen.

His dad was William Shawn, chief editor of The New Yorker.
His sister was "mentally retarded" and institutionalized for life.
His brother is the composer Allen Shawn

I have never been able to completely watch “ My Dinner with Andre” because I want to intrude upon the conversation - if that makes any sense.
It’s frustrating. He is a fascinating interviewee.

He’s ok. He stood by Woody Allen for that last English language movie he did. He’s hard to cast, but when they get him in the right role, he’s very effective. I recently saw The Bostonians.

R6 Same with me. I really want to watch it till the end, but I can never get more than 1/3 of the way. It's frustrating.
I really enjoy his work in everything I've seen him in. (I think he regularly appeared in 'The Good Fight').

I loved his character on The Good Wife. He was the sleezy lawyer for a big drug dealer and he was funny because he seemed so innocuous yet witnesses kept disappearing.
