The feeble President-elect sits down with "Meet The Press" and does what he does best: exaggerates, lies, promises, retracts, feels sorry for himself and hints at revenge.
JD Vance will be president before 2025 is over, probably. God help us.

Normally, I keep track of interviews like this by reading Aaron Rupar or Acyn's Twitter or Bluesky feeds. And I actually tried to start, but thought I can't stomach even reading the brief transcriptions. Nope. DL will be sufficient.

OP, I prefer "enfeebled"; in fact, that is how I shall refer to him from now on.

He is once again proving to be an angry campaigner, but a wimpy leader. He’s the guy who riled up an insurrection, but pretended he had nothing to do with it. He’s the guy who wanted to punish migrants by separating families, but then backed down and threw Kirstjen Nielsen and Jeff Sessions to the wolves to avoid blame. His Covid response was gamed to avoid making him look bad, including not allowing cruise ships to return to the US because it would increase our infection and death numbers.
Maybe the depressed Democratic energy is actually going to make it harder for him. He thrives on the energy from open conflict. But the best way to deal with narcissists is often to just bore them by asking questions, offering technocratic comments, and generally not taking the bait.

Hilarious that he says he can’t guarantee tariffs won’t hurt Americans’ pocketbooks.
Um, all analyses say his tariffs will cost each family around $7-9000–all so the rich can get tax cuts

I going to savor every minute of the brain dead maggots screaming about how expensive everything has suddenly become once these grifters take over.
I’m prepared to say, “I told you so” in the most side, condescending voice I can muster on endless repeat to the fools who just couldn’t even consider voting for a Democrat because eggs were too expensive.
Since the party of lies and grift is in charge, they gave no one else to blame, even if they try.

MAGA isn’t as excited by Vance and don’t think their loyalty is will immediately rush to him.
Trump Jr and Elon Musk are desperate for that support and they will challenge Vance when Trump dies

Aaron tweeted that Trump "plans to deport every single undocumented immigrant" 🙄 and about Trump actually admitting his tariffs will cost $$$.
That's it, really.

I'm with you r8. It's one of the few things I am looking forward to. I was going to sever one relationship but got guilted into inviting them over this past Thanksgiving. Definitely inflation voters. I see another way out with, like you say, snide sarcasm when the prices climb.
Where's your god now?!

R9-I too looking forward to Viv, Dawn Jr. and Musk Rat fighting over the old bones of a Dead Dump.

For me, the only saving grace of this disastrous result is that I no longer feel compelled to watch the news. Nothing matters anymore . Why listen to these stupid brainless airbrushed botoxed bimbos and bimbettes prattle on?
