"Everybody Hurts" by REM sucks. It's not intentionally cheesy bad like "I Don't Want to Miss a Thang". Instead, they acted like they were writing .... what? "Bridge Over Troubled Waters Redux"?

I am a Beatles fanatic but I hate Yellow Submarine. I love Ringo and his solo work and some of his Beatles songs but ugh, I hate the droning, repetitive Yellow Submarine.

I worked in the kitchen in a restaurant in high school and college, R1. The head line cook hated me and would start up yelling at me as soon as I walked in., so I sang the "we all live in a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine" for 2 hours one day in response. She walked out in the middle of the lunch rush. She told me if I ever sang like that again, she'd cut off my jim dong.
