Do you give honest online reviews about small businesses that fuck up?
We just ordered Japanese to be delivered. It's a local, independently-owned restaurant and their food sucks.
My boyfriend wants to leave nuclear posts about the restaurant, and I'm telling him "no". The food didn't taste like it was undercooked or spoiled or anything. And it arrived on time and hot.
I gotta guess it's hard on small, independent businesses. And we can make tater tots and everyone will be happy enough.

I had my first sub from Jersey Mike's yesterday - I was having a hankering for a cheesesteak sub. I got the Big Kahuna, which in addition to the regular cheesesteak ingredients, adds on jalapeno peppers.
I was so disappointed. While the meat and cheese and jalapenos were great, there were - quite literally - 4 small slices of peppers.
I'd leave them a bad review, but because it's a nationwide chain, it's doubtful they'll even be informed of the review. However, small, local businesses DO read those reviews, so if it's constructive feedback, I'd say go ahead (if you have a legitimate reason).

And you still ordered from them, knowing the food sucks ? Why ?

r9 oh dear for interpersonal communication. The cunt is merely saying that he ordered the food and discovered it sucks. How hard is that to put together.

R10 He said: "It's a local, independently-owned restaurant and their food sucks." It sounded like a fact he knew about the restaurant before ordering. He could've said more clearly, "It's a local, independently-owned restaurant and I realized after ordering that their food sucks."
Your apology is accepted.

R11 He could have but that’s sometimes how people speak casually. No apology here you dumb cunt.
We just ordered Japanese food was stated. Then he talked about the establishment and the food quality:
and I realized after ordering that their food sucks."
AND I REALIZED AFTER ORDERING
Why the fuck would somebody order crappy food they already experienced and then contemplate writing a bad review.

Re-read what he said again, R13, you dumb cunt. He said it all in one statement. He didn't separate the two.

Because there are people like you on the forum who find nothing wrong with doing something like this.

No, I refrain from leaving bad reviews for small businesses, unless they completely fucked up my order & I ended up with E-Coli or if a salon fucked up a hair treatment or my haircut.

Why does the review have to be "nuclear"? Can't you just write something honest, but polite?
Praise the place for it being local and convenient, providing on-time delivery and hot food. But simply add that the food itself wasn't to your liking (mentioning what you specifically ordered) and that you can't recommend.
