The reason I ask is because my partner is a Filipino nurse and he always says - somewhat jokingly but with some truth behind it - “don’t mess with the Filipino mafia at work because they will come after you and gang up on you.”
I’m not a nurse so I don’t know, but my partner’s sister and all her friends are also nurses and they seem vicious.

No, but there's never more than two at a time on my unit at any given time because of the staff demographics.
However, I've been told by other rns that if there is a group of them on a unit, they make life unbearable for the non-Filipinos, so your partner is telling the truth. I've been told this by White, black, Russian, and Carribean nurses.
