For all the boosterism for "small mom & pop stores," too many of them in the U.S. are the ones bitching about every dime they pay in taxes and looking for handouts so they can take money in even faster and easier, filling their businesses with underpaid part time workers and bursting at any hunt that they might be entitled to any benefits or protections -- the business owners, "the entrepreneurs"?, absolutely! The hourly wage workers? Fuck no, you filthy Marxist!
