South Carolina: Bullies sneak into ICU to snap photos of 12-year-old they drove to hang herself, lawsuit ensues

Sue them all. Dismiss the school board. Fire the teachers. Jail the kids. And beat up the kids’ parents.

This is horrifying. She looked like a sweet little girl, but also so vulnerable.

Fuck them all.

by Anonymousreply 1December 4, 2024 5:17 AM

Beat the bully who took the pictures to a pulp. Seriously. Fuck that cunt up.

by Anonymousreply 2December 4, 2024 5:18 AM

I like what Norway has done with regulating social media for young people.

This is just too much. Excessively cruel. I hope they are held to account.

by Anonymousreply 3December 4, 2024 5:19 AM

Ugh - this turned my stomach. Mainly all the bullying for 2 to 3 years before this and nobody doing anything.

And nothing's going to happen to these girls. Absolutely nothing.

Packs of teen girls can be some of the biggest living nightmares.

Really?

What is this, 1997?

by Anonymousreply 7December 4, 2024 5:31 AM

I’m sick

I was bullied and it was bad but I survived

Poor girl

I hate bullies

Fuck the bullies

by Anonymousreply 8December 4, 2024 5:35 AM

R7 Unlike the Independent or the Daily Mail, it’s not banned here.

by Anonymousreply 9December 4, 2024 5:39 AM

R8 - you survived, but it changes you forever. Seriously - it can change your growing brain at that time.

Most gays over 40 have been bullied - or experienced quite a bit of verbal or physical harassment as adults.

That feeling of being an 'equal' and not being a second-class citizen has never really gone away. It's just a part of you - you don't think of it often, but it's true.

by Anonymousreply 10December 4, 2024 5:40 AM

[quote]Kelaia’s teacher, Olivia Bennett, allegedly joined in on the mockery and would acknowledge the victim when the bullies would ask her, “Where’s the roach?”

How much you wanna bet that the teacher was either a total bitch in school herself OR a total loser who now curries favor with popular kids so she feels like less of a loser.

If she really participated, I'm glad they named her in the article. I hope she's getting as much hate as she gave.

by Anonymousreply 11December 4, 2024 5:46 AM

Horrifying. That poor girl.

by Anonymousreply 12December 4, 2024 5:48 AM

I just don't see how they don't have video proof as well of this since it's the last few years.

This is awful to say - she lived through the attempt, but is this living now? She's not able to control her body at all. I wouldn't want that.

by Anonymousreply 13December 4, 2024 5:49 AM

That poor little innocent. That is just the saddest story. Omg.

The issue I have is, why did the parents continue to send her to that horrible school well after it became clear that their daughter was being tormented daily there? Education is not worth being tortured. I know, I know, they probably both had to work and couldn't stay home with her and homeschool her while looking for an alternative. And schools are, let's face it, free childcare.

Which brings me to my next point, that being a stay-at-home mother should still be a viable option and it's insane that families can no longer survive on one parent incomes. If mothers were still able to stay home while raising children, this would not have happened. The mother could have pulled the kid out of that frankly nightmare of a school way, way sooner.

This is a tragedy.

by Anonymousreply 14December 4, 2024 5:53 AM

Oh I feel sick. How on earth could anyone do this? She looks like such a sweet girl.

by Anonymousreply 15December 4, 2024 5:56 AM

South Carolina: Bullies sneak into ICU to snap photos of 12-year-old they drove to hang herself, lawsuit ensues

Sadistic stalking--someone who enjoys seeing their negative impact on another person's life. In extreme cases, the bullies need to be removed from society.

by Anonymousreply 30December 4, 2024 6:49 AM

Whoa. Someone donated $5 to the Gofundme so that they could say this: "Donating not to shame, but to assert that you failed her when you refused to properly address the on-going bullying. You didn't care enough when she told you about the racial harassment she was experiencing, you seem unempathetic in regards to her now besides the money you can make from her case, and you don't seem to care enough now by simply suing the school district. The parents of the trespassing and harassing children must be held accountable. They would have had to restrain me if this were my daughter, you don't seem to have that problem and THAT is disturbing, besides you being comfortable letting your daughter be bullied for a year in a half at a racist middle school."

I am R14 and I agree with this person, that girl should have been pulled from that school and the mother should have been suing the prior to this tragedy. Or at least pitching a ginormous fit and freaking out and being a big ole Karen. Albeit, a Karen with a living, healthy daughter. Who keeps sending their daughter to a torture chamber day after day, month after month?

I'm sorry but it make me feel that the little gal was being neglected at home, for her to feel that she had, at age 12, no other recourse than to hang herself. My god.

Because she loves history, I am sure she will be honored to service our incoming Commander in Chief - while changing diapers, ironing pants, and blow drying them is part of the job - she'll be there when history is being made. by Anonymousreply 35December 4, 2024 7:31 AM

Our Miss Bennett wrote on her bio (which has been scrubbed by Google)

A common trend with young people is to be rude or mean to be funny. This will not be allowed in my classroom. Students often take things personally, and can dish it out, but cannot take the same words that they speak. Due to this, any kind of roasting, rudeness, bullying or unkind words will be immediately met with lunch detention. If the behavior continues, a phone call home will be made.

(Hysterical, especially the use of the passive tense and sly use of victim taking it personally and the implication that they participate in the abuse. Yeah, maybe the victim defended herself.)

At Fisher, we have a zero tolerance policy towards bullying. If bullying is seen or reported, it will be dealt with by the teaching staff.

And here she is; Hope Hicks beautiful

I don't understand why she was being bullied. Was there something wrong with her physically that these people zeroed in on? She looks perfectly sweet and normal.

by Anonymousreply 37December 4, 2024 7:43 AM

She was black and well-off (she had braces) among white kids. That and not fitting in, the teacher not stopping it, the parents not caring. An event cascade.

by Anonymousreply 38December 4, 2024 8:15 AM

How do we know the parents did nothing?

by Anonymousreply 39December 4, 2024 8:24 AM

They complained, but they should have put her in a private school.

by Anonymousreply 40December 4, 2024 8:27 AM

I was bullied in high school in the 80s. The teachers turned a blind eye. They actually seemed more interested in relating to the cool kids. I see things haven’t changed much.

by Anonymousreply 41December 4, 2024 8:42 AM

The bullies must not only be mean assholes, but dumb. Aren't there security cameras everywhere in hospitals?

by Anonymousreply 42December 4, 2024 8:44 AM

How do you even try to fix or reform that kind of rot? From the kids, to the parents, to the teachers, to the administrators that punished the victim instead of the bullies.

by Anonymousreply 43December 4, 2024 9:00 AM

Poor little girl.

Her life must have been hell.

It hurts my heart to read this story.

I cannot imagine people so cruel as to drive another person to kill themself, and then to be so heartless as to take a photo mocking her.

That kind of behavior is beyond comprehension.

by Anonymousreply 44December 4, 2024 9:41 AM

I’m glad people talk more about harassment at this level.

People are told that you can’t force someone to kill themsleves, it’s the person’s choice, other people are no responsible. But that’s something we say to make those who remain feel better. Because it is absolutely possible to make someone’s life so miserable by removing their power and flaunting their o wee n as a bully, that they want to kill themselves.

by Anonymousreply 45December 4, 2024 12:37 PM

Cruel and obviously not raised right. This is way more than kidd being kids. Evil kids Drove her to kill herself. Why aren't the parents of these evil kids being excoriated for this? Horrible for this girl and she'll have a hard time overcoming it as will her family.🙏

by Anonymousreply 46December 4, 2024 12:39 PM

parents don't do anything coz they always think their kids are the best and are angels etc etc. they will refuse to believe anything bad

by Anonymousreply 47December 4, 2024 12:41 PM

The worst bullying I received, and the worst I was to other people (didn't bully, but I was a cocky asshole), was at this middle school age. This is when even good children are at their worst due to hormonal changes and it's a key moment in people's lives. Address the problems then or they will forever be like this. Their parents should have whipped their asses (I'd say metaphorically, but this is so beyond the pale that I almost mean it literally). The school should have come down hard on them. The parents of this young girl should have changed schools, yes, but I would never post on a grieving family's gofundme something like that... They already know that now, folks.

by Anonymousreply 48December 4, 2024 12:53 PM

[quote]I was bullied in high school in the 80s. The teachers turned a blind eye.

There was a guy in my high school who was ... off. Probably autistic, before that was a such a frequent diagnosis. He was relentlessly teased. He got a hall pass to go to the bathroom in one of his classes his junior year, and the teacher directed the entire class to pick up and move to an empty classroom. He got back to an empty room and kind of freaked. Just a "practical joke" that everyone thought was hilarious. But I thought it was terrible, especially because it was instigated by a teacher.

by Anonymousreply 49December 4, 2024 1:02 PM

The bullies are monsters no question, about it. But why suicide? There has to be more to the story including negligent parents.

by Anonymousreply 50December 4, 2024 1:12 PM

The article mentions the girl was bullied for wearing her hair naturally

I wondered if there is a Crown Act law in South Carolina. Sadly, but not surprising there isn't one. The below article references that a member that Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and Sen. Cory Booker have been trying to get a Crown Act law passed at a federal level.

[quote] THIS. The teachers who were taken with the loudest kids had beta written all over them.

When I was in high school, I noticed that the teachers who kissed ass the popular kids always came off as desperate for some kind of validation. The ass lickers were mostly beta types who were very average looking and the ass lickers were usually the worst teachers in the school. I laughed because the ass lickers were never voted "best" or "favorite" teachers when it came to end of the year awards that were voted on by the student body.

Yup, usually in the hallways, lobbies, entrance areas, parking lots, etc.

I'm guessing the hospital has/had lax rules on ICU or security sucks.

Some hospitals do have strict rules on ICU access.

I think the only way the girls' names get leaked is if other students out them on social media.

I'm glad the school adminstators and teachers were named in the lawsuit filing.

According, to people on twitter, Olivia Bennett is now going by Grace Bennett on her instagram page. The asswipe teacher John Teer has a LinkedIn page, but no mention of his work history at the school. His previous and current positions are in IT and engineering recruiting. Fisher Middle School is promoted as a STEAM magnet public school. Enrollment in the school is lottery based selection. I wondered if some scenario in which Teer took a teaching job there and the school admins thought he was ideal because of his resume. The school's Facebook page has taken down the pic of John Teer that it was posted on twitter. On their Facebook page, there is a posting about another male teacher named in the lawsuit being named Teacher of the Month. Whoever is running the FB page limited comments on the posting about that teacher. There are other posts have limited commenting.

On twitter there is a screenshot of a Google review from six years ago in which the reviewer stated that the school environment was racist. Probably other shit gets buried/swept under the rug. The school continues to post various pictures of students and praising some of the staff members to give the façade of "happy school environment.

by Anonymousreply 62December 4, 2024 3:55 PM

r34, I find her classroom website VERY odd.

She has a group photo of her on some trip with friends as the first pic on her roll. Then a pic of her holding a coffee cup at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Then a pic of her crouched over with some big lady (both of their faces cut off) with an M written in marker on her hand. Finally there is something to do with education on the fourth and fifth pics. Then we are back to it being her personal instagram with a hug with a friend. And beyond that it's a mix of school and insta.

Below all her personal pics is the actual educational content such as syllabus and links.

It's clear that this woman wants to be popular so bad.

by Anonymousreply 63December 4, 2024 3:57 PM

Unfortunately, most bullying does not get reported by the victim - there's no direct proof because an adult wasn't there, or they tried and nobody cared.

More importantly, most people who are bullied don't tell their families about the extent of it because of deep-seated shame. Also - a lot of parents will brush it off and say useless stuff like 'stand up for yourself' or approach it like an adult would - which does not work.

Children are feral with undeveloped minds - they just go to their ID impulses and not think of the consequences.

It's a terrible situation all around - but the teachers KNOW who the bullies are and should look for the behavior and punish accordingly.

by Anonymousreply 64December 4, 2024 4:03 PM

I'm sorry this poor angel had to suffer.

by Anonymousreply 65December 4, 2024 4:05 PM

[quote] Why do blacks insist on living in these racist Southern states?

It could be due to family/cultural reasons or not having the means to move away.

Racism is everywhere in this country and minorities will never fully escape racism no matter where they live. Last year, the CROWN Act was signed into law in Michigan. Legislators in Michigan had previously attempted to get it passed, but it didn't go through during a past period when Republicans controlled the legislature. There are videos of the bill signing in which the Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist and a black female state senator Sarah Anthony talk about racism and hair discrimination they faced in Michigan.

[Quote] Probably because the South is more integrated than the North now.

Apparently not.

by Anonymousreply 68December 4, 2024 4:37 PM

R67 It was probably like that. Kids probably lied and were able to get buzzed in if it was of those locked ICU units. It was probably dumb fuck employee who bought the bullshit and let them in.

My cousin is a attorney and prior to law school she was a paralegal for firm that represented hospitals and healthcare systems in lawsuits. She said that experience taught her that many hospitals hire some of the dumbest people for clerk, receptionist, security, or admin assistant jobs. A lot of it was dumb fucks who negligently violated HIPAA and other privacy policies.

by Anonymousreply 69December 4, 2024 4:45 PM

As someone who spent several weeks with someone in the ICU, I find it extremely disturbing that they were allowed in. Those rules must be extremely lax compared to the one I went to. Had to get a sticker badge printed every day with my name and photo at the main hospital entrance after showing my license. Then once at the ICU, I had to use a ring-type camera to identify myself again and wait to be walked back by someone into the ICU. There were limited visiting hours. Etc. And they loved me and recognized me and I was the one who had all the say in that person's care, but still, protocol was protocol. How are some kids with no relationship to the ill being allowed back there? WTF kind of ICU is that?

by Anonymousreply 70December 4, 2024 4:48 PM

Some hospitals just suck and poorly run with various security risks. Poorly run hospitals are the reason some people are leaving nursing and other healthcare jobs.

by Anonymousreply 71December 4, 2024 5:09 PM

I was misgendered!!

by Anonymousreply 72December 4, 2024 5:10 PM

What kind of monster do you have to be to think it's so hilarious that you almost killed someone? You'd think that someone who did something like that would have a guilty conscience and think "I never intended it to go that far." Or at the very least that they'd want to cover their asses and try to downplay their involvement so they could avoid the consequences. Instead they run to the hospital and take pictures so they can brag as if it's something to be proud of? They have to be truly sick and deranged. It's scary to think that a mere child could have that much darkness and hate inside them.

by Anonymousreply 73December 4, 2024 5:22 PM

I am SHOCKED at the cruelty of the bullies, but in day and age of social media I am not surprised.

They live on their phones& obviously their parents do not care what they do!! These bullies have no concept of "right and wrong". I would seek REVENGE on the children and all the adults involved in not protecting that poor child.

My 1st school in foster care out in central Pennsylvania was a nightmare, my foster brother Gordon told me "You're either the Hunter or the Hunted.". It was 1975. I was 12, within 2 weeks I was being bullied by a group of older teenagers. 4 months later, all the bullying stopped. 3 of the bullies had accidents& the 1 guy mended his ways.

by Anonymousreply 74December 4, 2024 5:30 PM

Middle school was the worst. Absolute dregs of education. We had bully teachers too. Once now works with special needs students. If I ever see him in public, we are going to have a chat.

by Anonymousreply 79December 4, 2024 5:40 PM

Pre-teen girls can be ferocious bullies. They often have a tendency to shut out one girl from their core friend group and make her life miserable.

In the early 2000s my niece was bullied mercilessly. They set up a MySpace page dedicated to tormenting her. My brother and his wife appealed to the girls parents to no avail (denial/disbelief to complete lack of caring) and finally to the school. The school's stance was that since it was not happening on school property during school hours (this was before smart phones) there was nothing they could do.

They finally put her into private school and my niece began to thrive again. But now, even in her 30s she only has one close female friend (who she met in 9th grade), struggles with disordered eating, and intentionally makes herself look ugly sometimes by wearing thrift store clothes, cutting her own hair, etc. when she has plenty of money to afford decent clothes and a haircut.

R58 I am the person who used the word "Karen" as short-hand for "the mother should have been on high alert, coming down like a hammer on the school. faculty, and parents of the bullies with no holding back." Way way before it got to the noose stage. I apologize for using that word, as it obviously has a perjorative tinge to it. But really, I just meant, there should have been a very vocal and immediate stink made as soon as the bulling was clearly being ignored and neglected. I personally would have zoinked my child out of that school so fast you'd be hearing a sonic boom for miles all around. This was avoidable, and it sickens me. That poor innocent, adorable little girl.

by Anonymousreply 84December 4, 2024 8:30 PM

Charge them as adults. Charge the parents. Just like they did for the kid with the gun and his parents are both in prison. These kids terrorized the kid. Now she’s a vegetable? The perps parents should be jailed. This is attempted murder and even more that I can’t think about. Disgusting. Filming the damage. Sadistic and insane. Take the kids and out into psych prison.

by Anonymousreply 85December 4, 2024 8:45 PM

This is a level of cruelty towards a bullying victim that even I would NEVER think of doing that to a girl dying in an ICU.

To take photos of the girl u bullied, caused her to try to kill herself& put it on social media is "beyond mean and cruel".

I am actually stunned by their actions, I did terrible things to my bullies, Thank God there was no FB, social media& cellphones.

I hope every fucking administrator and every fucking teacher who didn’t protect that beautiful baby lose their jobs, their licenses, their homes and their families.

I hope every fucking kid is publicly exposed and they never get into college. I hope they never get hired for anything but scrubbing gas station toilets.

I hope their fucking parents lose their jobs and their homes.

I hope all of them are ostracized from society, end up homeless and live long, miserable lives.

by Anonymousreply 93December 5, 2024 12:49 AM

Couldn't’ even read it

by Anonymousreply 94December 5, 2024 12:49 AM

My jaw actually dropped reading the headline. What possesses people to do that?!

by Anonymousreply 95December 5, 2024 1:58 AM

The family should be able to film an attack on the bully and post it online

by Anonymousreply 96December 5, 2024 2:03 AM

R95, the american south is a cesspool of lies and corruption. Nearly all of the greatest horror stories of the US come from the south .

by Anonymousreply 97December 5, 2024 2:15 AM

I’d believe it and as time goes on the light shines brighter and brighter and these bullies and tyrants get more brazen.

by Anonymousreply 98December 5, 2024 2:22 AM

Kelaia Turner, now 14, suffered more than a year of physical and verbal abuse at the hands of five peers at the Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School in Greenville, her heartbroken family wrote in a lawsuit against the district and nine faculty members who were accused of negligence. Seeing suicide as her only way out, Kelaia hanged herself in 2023 and was dead for 8 minutes before paramedics could revive her, with Kelaia suffering severe brain damage and remaining in a coma for weeks.

While Kelaia was in the coma, one of the bullies made their way inside the ICU and snapped photos of the intubated girl, posting the pictures on social media and spreading rumors about her injuries, the lawsuit says. The lawsuit claims the bullying started in 2021 when Kelaia began wearing her natural hair to school, with students calling her "roach" and saying she looked "like a man." Kelaia's teacher, Olivia Bennett, allegedly joined in on the mockery and would acknowledge the victim when the bullies would ask her, "Where's the roach?"

Things only escalated in 2022 when Kelaia got into a fight with one of the bullies, with school officials opting to suspend her but not her tormentor, according to the lawsuit.

On May 23, 2022, Kelaia's parents said, students targeted their daughter by playing an offensive YouTube video called "The Black People Song," which teacher John Teer allegedly allowed to be played aloud without reprimand over the video's racist nature.

Later that year, the bullies went on to pour water on Kelaia's clothes and then threw them in the trash, the lawsuit states. Through all this, the stricken child's parents allege that the district failed to take any meaningful action to stop the torment, with Kelaia opting to hang herself with a belt in her bedroom on March 17, 2023.

Her mother Ty Turner posted this video to Facebook to raise awareness to bullying.

Olivia “Grace” Bennett speaks:

@oliviabennett_grace

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions and how they made you feel. I realize now that what I said, even though I thought it was just a joke, contributed to a situation where you felt hurt and singled out. That was never my intention, but I understand that my intentions don't change the impact my words had on you.

As your teacher, my job is to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone, and I'm sorry for falling short of that. I take full responsibility for my mistake and want you to know I am committed to doing better.

If you're open to it, l'd like to talk to you and your mother and understand how I can better support you moving forward. Your feelings and well-being are very important to me.

Sincerely, Ms. Bennett

R81 plus ça change…

Now there’s a fucking surprise. 🙄

by Anonymousreply 101December 5, 2024 8:07 PM

Holy shit, r100. The teacher admits saying those things!

I'm not sure why she thinks she can apologize her way out of this.

by Anonymousreply 102December 5, 2024 8:09 PM

[quote] I'm not sure why she thinks she can apologize her way out of this.

She's a phony fucking cunt, and she's probably getting death threats. Deservedly.

I hope she's wracked with guilt and hounded by haters for the rest of her life.

Wretched CUNT!!!

by Anonymousreply 103December 5, 2024 8:14 PM

R102 teachers who egg on students in things they thought were just a joke are infantile and dangerous. They suck up to the loud kids to try and gain respect in the classroom.

What a fucking loser she is.

by Anonymousreply 104December 5, 2024 8:15 PM

I didn’t read the whole story, but isn’t the girl a vegetable? Why is the teacher posting that she wants to talk to her? Is the teacher mentally disabled?

by Anonymousreply 105December 5, 2024 8:16 PM

Fuuuuuuuuck that teacher with her “moving forward” letter. These moving forward letters are a dime a dozen. At this point they are form letters you just sign. Like Mad LIBS fill-ins. I got one just like this about a drunken neighbor! FUUUUCK THAT DUMBCUNT TRACHER WHO NOW WANTS A CHANCE TO TALK TO THE KID AFTER SHES A VEGTABLE. Such thick bullshit . To keep her fucking job! Fire this asshole she’s destructive as they see!

by Anonymousreply 106December 5, 2024 8:25 PM

My parent was murdered when I was a kid. Nobody at school knew. After this happened I got a bully. I wanted to kill myself. Then I thought, NO. Bring a steak knife to school. (Only weapon I could think of). I was in 7th grade. I had to leave school or I was going to have defend myself. Fire the teacher . Charge teacher as accessory. Charge the parents of the bullies. Charge the bullies as adults. Orison for the kids involved should be a criminally insane facility. They made that poor kid a vegetable Nd still didn’t feel remorse and brutalized her AGAIN IN A FUCKIBG GOSPITAL BED THAT IS BEYOND BOLD.

by Anonymousreply 107December 5, 2024 8:31 PM

*Sorry for spelling off, I got upset just typing that out.

by Anonymousreply 108December 5, 2024 8:32 PM

Surely there are hospital/medical guidelines prohibiting unauthorized visits and dispersing of patient photographs.

At the least these craven creatures should be charged with trespassing.

by Anonymousreply 109December 5, 2024 8:35 PM

r109, I hope the hospital is included in the lawsuit because that's the money shot.

Surely the teacher's lawyer would have not allowed her to write that note after the lawsuit was filed. She probably wrote it after one of the classroom incidents but before the suicide attempt. It only helps Kelaia's family's case now because she basically admits she failed the kid.

by Anonymousreply 110December 5, 2024 10:14 PM

I would have poisoned the teacher but sporadically. And then when she has to walk out, have that daughter laugh in her face.

by Anonymousreply 111December 5, 2024 10:46 PM

This is sick.

by Anonymousreply 112December 5, 2024 11:04 PM

No apologies necessary R108 but that witch “Oh dear” is alway lurking and looking for the slightest mistake then she pounces-she must be some lonely retired school teacher with way too much time- bitch.

by Anonymousreply 113December 5, 2024 11:11 PM

Sad on so many levels. Including what happens to a community when a massive lawsuit is won. The city or town will just move money around and hack away further at the school budget and social services budget lined — the things the most vulnerable residents and families need. Guilty individuals will go unpunished.

It’s the same and worse for police brutality lawsuits. I hate being this cynical but after you’ve seen it happen too many times, a hardening sets in.

by Anonymousreply 114December 5, 2024 11:14 PM

[quote] I didn’t read the whole story, but isn’t the girl a vegetable? Why is the teacher posting that she wants to talk to her? Is the teacher mentally disabled?

The articles on the case don't say the girl is a vegetable. But, the mentions of the trache, feeding tube, and other things indicate that she is one. I worked in the healthcare field as a social worker for several years and my ex-girlfriend was a nurse who worked in neuro rehab and in home health. We both dealt with families of patients like this girl. It was tough for various reasons. My ex eventually went to oncology work because she felt that at least with oncology she could have some relief knowing that some of her patients would at least have good outcomes.

The teacher is desperate to save face and probably try and redeem herself with the community. Maybe, she thought addressing the girl as if she is still in good intellectual shape would make people "see that she is directly apologizing to the girl". Whatever the cunt teacher's reasons are, it's too fucking late for her to be apologizing to the girl and the family. She was involved in the bullying of a student under her watch. If I was parent with a kid at this school, I would probably pull the kids from the school because I wouldn't be able to trust teachers like Ms Olivia "Grace" Bennett'.

by Anonymousreply 115December 6, 2024 12:59 AM

Any info on the bullies and their parents?

by Anonymousreply 116December 6, 2024 1:13 AM

Year r116 someone needs to ID them. The sociopath who went into the hospital and took pics to post on social media probably went in with her parents “to visit”.

by Anonymousreply 117December 6, 2024 1:26 AM

I am sorry to hear that r107.

by Anonymousreply 118December 6, 2024 2:42 AM

[quote]Sad on so many levels. Including what happens to a community when a massive lawsuit is won. The city or town will just move money around and hack away further at the school budget and social services budget lined — the things the most vulnerable residents and families need

True. But.

At this point, if the district takes a financial hit in a Cleaning Of The Augean Stables, then maybe it’s what is needed to poison the careers of at least the teachers and school administrators.

by Anonymousreply 119December 6, 2024 2:45 AM

[quote] the american south is a cesspool of lies and corruption.

I’m not saying the North is any better, but Jesus, the racism and elitism permeating this case is undeniable.

by Anonymousreply 120December 6, 2024 2:47 AM

Were the parents of the girls who trespassed at the hospital sued, at least? As far as the others name and shame.

by Anonymousreply 121December 9, 2024 1:41 AM

Was anyone even arrested?

by Anonymousreply 122December 9, 2024 1:49 AM

Well, it WAS called the ICU, so the kids must have thought they were invited!!!

by Anonymousreply 123December 9, 2024 1:56 AM

Kids shouldn't be on social media, period. They're too dumb to even know it's bad. A whole generation of people with underdeveloped personal morality and critical thinking skills because from the day they're born, they have a consequence free outlet for their worst instincts and desires for attention and social interaction.

by Anonymousreply 124December 9, 2024 3:20 PM

Not that I'm making excuses for the little degenerates involved with this affair. They're particularly devolved, and will likely grow up to be part of some zoosadist cyber ring.

by Anonymousreply 125December 9, 2024 5:40 PM

bump 4 updates.

by Anonymousreply 126December 14, 2024 10:09 AM

This reminds me of a tiktok I saw where some guy goes and smashes up and pisses on the memorial for some dead kid his friend ran over and killed.

by Anonymousreply 127December 14, 2024 11:51 AM

R89, Of course they can't be, but that's not the same as shouldn't be. What is in their future?

Dropping out. Stripping. Drugs. Men like P. Diddy and Jay-Z, but broke. And if none of these, still something completely of no value to society.

by Anonymousreply 128December 14, 2024 12:24 PM

Is there new information on these "future monster children serial killers" and their uninvolved parents?

Any new information on the lawsuits?

by Anonymousreply 129December 14, 2024 4:29 PM

Their actions weren't academic, like sloth or playing hooky or just not studying. These girls are feral in character.

Bad seeds.
