Here in the southeast I’ve met gay men who think gay marriage was a mistake and civil unions should have been adopted instead.

There are exceptions, R8. But based on my experience, very few straight men who are comfortable with their sexuality spend much time thinking about gay sex and whether gays should marry. Those who obsess over it usually have a reason.

There’s absolutely no reason to vote Republican unless you’re super duper rich, hate gays, minorities, women. From Hoover to Trump, every Republican president has seen a recession or depression start under their watch. Sometime two recessions in 2 terms. 100 years of economic data shows the economy performs better under Democrats by every measure. They offer nothing worthy to anyone other than the very rich. A lot of minority groups who vote R are contrarians, or sociopaths.
