Side question: Do we think that had Gianni lived, he would have followed Donatella, Michael Jeffries, and Calvin Klein down the horrific plastic surgery rat hole, or would have have shown some constraint.

Her face does look okay, but it's really the hair that's doing all the heavy lifting here.

And should looks like she actually ate a meal for the first time in decades.

I don't think it's a given that Gianni Versace would have thrown himself into plastic surgery. He was never attractive so maybe he would have been more comfortable aging semi-naturally.

Her first husband was a Versace model. Super hot. The rumor back then is that he was gay and was originally the boyfriend of her brother.

I’ve always known her with that look that would scare children. I had to look up what she used to look like and found this page on Life & Style from 2018.

She looks ages younger and so much better.

Her recent surgery has mitigated some of the horrific damage done from her prior surgeries, but she is by no means close to looking good , let alone great. That photo in OP's link is one good snapshot due to good lighting and angle.

She looks way better and it doesn’t look like her. The eye makeup is better, she has dark brows, her hair isn’t straw white. Her lips are better but still weird.

The softened makeup and gaining a few extra pounds has a lot to do with it. Totally agree with R44.

We public rarely see old celebrities without tons of professional fard, and then the layers of lights and filters and then the post recording with digital processing.

The before picture looks like Zombie Mary Travers.

Our table was next to hers at dinner in Sydney 20-plus years ago. She looked like OP’s “before” picture then.

She looks a lot better now. Really amazing.

I met her 40 years ago when she was working in her brother's showroom in Milan. She was completely normal looking. She wasn't a celebrity then. It was before the glam. She showed us the collection. My friend was buying for his shop.

I thought it was Courtney Love.

I thought it was Kellyanne Conway with a good wig.

She no longer looks like she inhabits a cave somewhere.

Gianni was 50 when he was killed. He had nothing done at that point and didn't even dye his hair.

Yeah I agree with r73. It looks like she got a nose job, or that is industrial strength contouring.

Looks like she had a surgery to advance and expand both lower and upper jaws, thus completely altering the counters of her face in a way fillers can’t. Its transformative.

If only she could walk within a circle of good lights moving with her all the time to enhance the improvement.
