To Michigan. She somehow gathered her eclectic fam all together for what looks like an L.L. Bean ad.
Great pic. One things for sure, she was a good mom. None of her kids end up being druggies, and are educated and artistically talented.

If she goes up to Ironwood, she’ll get 27 inches.

It really is very heartfelt. Her kids seem very happy, healthy, artistic, educated, and adore her. She really is a good mom. She looks good, too.

Madge IS....The Insect Woman
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 3, 2024 1:19 AM |
r6 agreed. I almost want to forgive her instagram stunts. Madge is simply that bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 3, 2024 1:27 AM |
She’s back. She’s been acting more normal since she almost died, and now lost close family.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 3, 2024 1:28 AM |
Why does Rocco always dress like a retard?

by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 3, 2024 2:23 AM |
And her little dog, too!

Rocco is the spitting image of his father. Handsome kid.
I ❤️ Madge, & she looks fantastic in every photo. I especially love her posts from Paris. She really knows how to put an outfit together & has great taste.
May Christopher & stepmom RIP.

The audience sound from the Virgin Tour in Houston dropped not too long ago. I listened to it. Damn she sounded better than on the recorded version in Detroit. Belting her little heart out and sounding strong when she went higher. Bitch ate a few songs and left no crumbs. She sounded so sweet talking to the audience.
I’m ecstatic she’s back to herself. She’s seen a lot of death. The Celebration Tour was a triumph. She laid her emotions bare and raw.
Her dad! Those are great pics.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 3, 2024 3:41 AM |
This is one of the most wholesome and pleasant posts she has ever done.
Hope people respond and she goes more toward this - as opposed to the shit nobody wants to see.
This humanizes her - we need more of that.

Erika Belle (for those who know) has been corresponding to some fans on X. She dropped that her, Sade, and Madonna hung out all the time pre-fame, and Sade was a huge admirer of Madonna’s talent despite some shade thrown as adults. Erika assured Sade loves Madonna and has huge respect for her. I liked hearing this because I fucking love Sade and Madonna.
Those pics are 💙

Every pic of her face is photoshopped to the gods.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 3, 2024 3:46 AM |
R17, True, but we’ve seen unaltered face pics recently and she looks good. She needs to stop RIGHT NOW because she achieved what she should have wanted.

I missed the caption for her brother's obit. Probably a bit self serving but lovely nevertheless.
-----------------------------
My brother Christopher is gone.
He was the closest human to me for so long
Its hard to explain our bond
But it grew out of an understanding that we were different and society was going to give us a hard time for not following the status quo.
We took each other‘s hands and we danced through the madness of our childhood
In fact dance was a kind of superglue that held us together.
Discovering Dance in our small Midwestern town saved me and then my brother came along, and it saved him too
My ballet Teacher, also named Christopher- created a safe space for my brother to be Gay.
a word that was not spoken or even whispered where we lived.
When I finally got the courage to go to New York to become a Dancer.
My brother followed.
And again we took each other’s hands, and we danced through the madness of New York City!
We devoured Art and Music And Film like hungry animals
we were in the epicenter of all of these things exploding.
We danced through the madness of the AIDS epidemic.
We went to funerals and we cried, and we went dancing. We danced together on stage in the beginning of my career and eventually, he became the Creative Director, of many tours. When it came to good taste, my brother was the Pope, and you had to kiss the ring to get his blessing.
We defied the Roman Catholic Church, The Police, the Moral Majority and all Authority figures that got in the way of Artistic freedom!
My brother was right by my side. He was a painter a poet and a visionary.
I admired him. He had impeccable taste. And a sharp tongue, Which he sometimes used against me but I always forgave him. We soared the highest heights together
And floundered in the lowest lows.
Somehow, we always found each other again and We held hands and we kept dancing. The last few years have not been easy
We did not speak for sometime but
When my brother got sick. We found our way back to each other.
I did my best to keep him alive as long as possible.
He was in so much pain towards the end
Once again, we held hands We closed our eyes and we danced.Together.
I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore.
There will never be anyone like him.
I know he’s dancing somewhere.💔

With all the grunge and LL Bean fashion styling, old Madge still managed to slip into a lace bodysuit on this suburban safari.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 3, 2024 3:54 AM |
r19 You see this is why I love Madge. I sometimes talk shit about her but there really is no one on her level, intellectual wise in the pop world. NO ONE.

Her father, Silvio Ciccone, was a looker, too.
Hard to believe he's still alive and kicking at 93.
He lost his first wife in the early '60s.

Madonna has good genes- Italian and French Canadian. Her dad had lived a hard working life, has cancer, has lost his wives, several children, and is still going. Her dad’s death will be the hardest one for her, I think.
I ❤️her

It was her younger gay brother, Christopher, who was homeless and literally living under a bridge over ten years ago.
He struggled with substance abuse all his adult life and Madonna funded his rehab countless times.
They became estranged in the 2000s when she married Guy Ritchie, whom he could not stand, and after he published his memoir, "Life with My Sister Madonna," but they made amends several years before he died of pancreatic cancer this past October.
FYI: Christopher was featured in the documentary TRUTH OR DARE, which chronicles her Blonde Ambition World Tour, for which he was art director.

"hard working life"? he's an engineer, isn't he? by definition a "professional".
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 3, 2024 6:00 AM |
R29, No, it was their oldest brother, Anthony, who was homeless and living under a bridge.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 3, 2024 6:02 AM |
Madonna is one of the most talented singers ever. She also had a lot of pain and struggle throughout her life. Despite that, she has a good heart, which is hard to encounter in Hollywood. At a time when gay people were oppressed beyond belief, they identified with her struggles and she theirs.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 3, 2024 6:16 AM |
First, that is a great photo. Whoever made that happen, kudos.
Second, I was never a Madonna fan as a kid in the 90s. I was into rock and indie. But she was fucking Madonna, the biggest pop star in all the land. I always assumed she'd age like a badass. Instead she just became an embarrassment.
But if she starts doing things like this? Well, all will be forgiven.
The world is better off having a truly interesting Madonna doing her thing on her own terms. Not whatever the hell she's been attempting to do the past eight or so years.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 3, 2024 7:01 AM |
It would be interesting if Madonna publicized Michigan. It’s a microcosm of the US.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 3, 2024 7:20 AM |
R35, exactly.
The lady has a heart of gold, & either you can recognize it, or you can’t.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 3, 2024 3:16 PM |
R29 here.
R34 OMG, I conflated the two brothers! Thanks for the correction.
To be clear, Anthony was the older brother who struggled with substance abuse and wound up homeless and Madonna paid for his rehab.
Christopher was the gay brother who worked for Madonna but had a falling out over finances and Guy Ritchie's alleged homophobia.

[quote] When it came to good taste, my brother was the Pope
I remember the Immaculate Collection had that note "devoted to the pope, my divine inspiration". Everyone thought she was being sassy at the time (directing a passive aggressive message to the pope who had actually condemned her when she performed in Italy) but she was actually referring to her brother, that was her nickname for him.

Lourdes looks fresh, pretty and her actual age in regular day-to-day clothes.
The Madame Rula, Carnival Midway Fortune Teller look she was donning for promotions and runways made her look hard and older.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 3, 2024 5:19 PM |
R40 She was obviously doing both and that is why her ass is the biggest selling female artist of all time. Queen of reinvention and brilliant marketer.

Madonna's other brother, Martin, has also had trouble with booze. Those Ciccone boys sure do love their liquor.

Very sweet. Saw her at the Celebration tour up close. She looked very good in the face, legs. A bit of bat wings, and veiny hands, but she looked great overall. She gave several funny, and poignant speeches.
