Advil Tylenol combo.

I have tried both Aleve and the generic Naproxen. I never buy Aleve anymore. Naproxen is exactly the same medication and provides the same benefits.

Kidneys say no.

I’ve heard Ibuprofen is a faster-acting pain relief while Naproxen is longer lasting.

I thought ibuprofen was just for my inflammation.
Also, over time it will destroy your liver.

Alive makes me feel strange. Advil works when I need it. I don't take it often.

So will paracetamol.

For a headache, I take an Anvil.

I have a terrible pain in a tooth and am seeing dentist tomorrow. In the meantime, I’ve been taking combinations of advil, Aleve, and Tylenol. My liver and kidneys are getting a workout

Naproxen. But I took the same cocktail as R9 for my toothache a few months ago.
Research has shown naproxen is more likely than ibuprofen to cause GI side effects because it is longer acting.
Naproxen (at dosages up to 1000mg per day) does not appear to be associated with an increased risk of detrimental vascular events, and experts tend to prefer naproxen for this reason.

Paracetamol is the EU & British name for Acetaminophen.

Aleve definitely works way longer so I use it for lasting pain like a tooth ache. For a simple heartache I use advil

They both tear my stomach to shreds, so I take ibuprofen very sparingly. Aleve worse on stomach.

I use generic Aleve in the liquid gels.
I used to be a heavy drinker and, at that time, I gave up Tylenol. I haven't drunk for years and could probably go back to Tylenol.

Naproxen Sodium does nothing for me to alleviate pain.
Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen are both harmful to my liver and kidneys, but at least they work. I just have to use them as sparingly as possible.

Supposedly, you should not be taking Advil at all if you are 60 and over. Gut destroyer
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 3, 2024 5:37 PM |
Just do some heroin, silly.
