MAGA is already claiming Biden will be the reason we have a recession after Trump takes office

Easy to debunk as this young guy takes apart this MAGATs illogic.

This is the MAGA/Trump play book. Take credit for victories that aren’t theirs, and blame everyone else for their failures.

The repub way of life for as long as I can remember.

by Anonymousreply 2November 30, 2024 11:04 PM

And what will the democrats in Congress do to counter this lie. NOTHING!

by Anonymousreply 3November 30, 2024 11:07 PM

And idiotic Americans will believe whatever pap Dear Leader and St. Elmo spoon feed them.

by Anonymousreply 4November 30, 2024 11:08 PM

R1 It's the everyone playbook when they get into office - blame everything on the predecessor.

by Anonymousreply 5November 30, 2024 11:13 PM

R3 The Dems will be masturbating furiously to the tune of being "marginalized".

All the Chicken-Little-ing didn't work, guys. People either didn't believe that Trump was going to set the country on fire or simply didn't care because they didn't think they'd be affected.

Batten-down your houses as best you can and get your coats on - winter is coming.

by Anonymousreply 6November 30, 2024 11:16 PM

One guy is not all of them. Dramatic, much?

by Anonymousreply 7November 30, 2024 11:22 PM

R7. For the most part, the MAGAts are all the same. The rest of them don't even have the intelligence to make the semblance of a cohesive argument.

by Anonymousreply 8November 30, 2024 11:39 PM

Step away from googling "MAGA", dear. It'll be there in January.

by Anonymousreply 9November 30, 2024 11:43 PM

And watch corporations help Trump out by raising prices before he takes office.

by Anonymousreply 10November 30, 2024 11:48 PM

My MAGA brother has already declared TPTB will not let his hero succeed "THEY" will crash the economy so a "communist liberal" will be elected in 2028". Sorta what some Germans said in 1946 about the British starting WW2.

The kid has nice hair - therefore, we should listen to him.

by Anonymousreply 12December 1, 2024 1:18 AM

I just realized it hasn't even been a month since the election. It feels like forever.

I don't recall any other President-elect making so many decisions, declaring shit like the upcoming tariffs, or having meetings like the one he just did with the Canadian Prime Minister so early after an election. It's like he's getting an extra couple months.

by Anonymousreply 13December 1, 2024 1:25 AM

So by this logic, the economic glory of 2017-18 was Obama, right MAGA?

by Anonymousreply 14December 1, 2024 1:28 AM

This is completely unsurprising that MAGAs are coming up with a way to justify whatever bad things are coming. With the MAGA cult everything is either "debunked" or it's fake news.

R13 - Trump is basically already running the country and sending out domestic and foreign policy announcements with his nominees and by speaking with world leaders like Trudeau and Sheinbaum Pardo. He's going to govern using Truth Social to announce everything. It's going to be a long 4 years.

[quote] Easy to debunk

Debunk? With facts? Amateur. If I want it to be true facts won't matter to me.

by Anonymousreply 16December 1, 2024 1:46 AM

[quote] And watch corporations help Trump out by raising prices before he takes office.

Just received an email from my streaming provider (Sling) that they're raising prices by $6.00 in January. Not a big deal, but still.

Went to the market this morning as I was out of eggs. 2 weeks ago I paid $2.48/doz. Today they were $4.65/doz.

by Anonymousreply 17December 1, 2024 8:30 PM

R16 Exactly. Debunking only works if the audience recognizes the authority of the source.
