John Alfred Tinniswood is DEAD TO ME

The world's oldest living man has died at the age of 112, his family have confirmed.

John Alfred Tinniswood died on Monday at the Southport care home where he lived.

The lifelong Liverpool football fan became the world’s oldest living man in April this year, when Juan Vicente Pérez Mora died at the age of 114.

His family said Mr Tinniswood's final day was "surrounded by music and love". Mr Tinniswood, who was born on 26 August 1912, the same year the Titanic sank, became the UK’s oldest man in 2020.

He was recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s oldest man in April 2024.

I guess I need to cancel my subscription to his OnlyFans.

His real last name was Tinnisballs, and that prevented him from being a pro Tennis player.

I wanted him as my running mate.

Next year, R4

by Anonymousreply 5November 30, 2024 6:39 PM

Oh no! This is awful! What happened?

by Anonymousreply 6November 30, 2024 6:53 PM

He doesn’t look a day over 75. Amazing genes.

by Anonymousreply 7November 30, 2024 6:56 PM

So young. Gone too soon.

by Anonymousreply 8November 30, 2024 7:14 PM

Was it natural causes?

by Anonymousreply 9November 30, 2024 7:18 PM

The longevity gap between men and was men persists even at the extremes. He would be totally non-competitive against the women.

by Anonymousreply 10November 30, 2024 7:22 PM

What are you talking about, r10? How many 112 year old women do you know?

by Anonymousreply 11November 30, 2024 7:54 PM

I don’t know any, didn’t claim to. There are currently 30 women older than her.

by Anonymousreply 12November 30, 2024 7:57 PM

He had a hot ass, but that was in 1940, and no-one has wanted to see it since then.

RIP.

Poor Tinniswood just changed his pronouns to they / them less than a week before his death.

by Anonymousreply 14December 3, 2024 11:52 PM

Well then he’s not the oldest LIVING man, is he???????

by Anonymousreply 15December 3, 2024 11:55 PM

Super old people always have those scary eyelids

by Anonymousreply 16December 3, 2024 11:55 PM

[quote] Oh no! This is awful! What happened?

He was fighting an oil rig fire in the Gulf of Mexico.

by Anonymousreply 17December 4, 2024 12:10 AM

It should’ve been me! OHHH, it should’ve been me!

by Anonymousreply 18December 4, 2024 12:16 AM

Who wants to be 112?

by Anonymousreply 19December 4, 2024 12:20 AM

R19 The Queen Mum tried really, really, hard to reach 112.

by Anonymousreply 20December 4, 2024 12:25 AM

Hung like a horse...

by Anonymousreply 21December 4, 2024 1:22 AM

He probably had childhood memories of WWI.

by Anonymousreply 22December 4, 2024 1:39 AM

Being a Brit, he probably drank liberally and smoked like a chimney for decades.

by Anonymousreply 23December 4, 2024 1:45 AM

I wonder if he still got boners?

by Anonymousreply 24December 4, 2024 1:51 AM

What's on his gramophone?

by Anonymousreply 25December 4, 2024 1:51 AM

RE24 Queen Camilla really turned him on.

Have you followed the Gerontology Research Group? They fund research into and promote awareness of supercentenerians (110+ years old) and verify the 'oldest ever' records for Guinness. On their forum individual supercentenarians get their own thread where their groups of fans track their progress (she's now the oldest living person in Spain! She's the last person to have been born in 1907!)

It's nice but shades into weird.
