Sissy Spacek, William Hurt, Sally Kellerman, Howard de Silva (Emmy Winner)
A movie I'd never seen until now. It came up on my YouTube feed.
When being an American used to actually mean something. An absolute gem!
This movie destroyed me.

It might be the best Sally Kellerman performance I've ever seen. I never thought too much of her. Now I'm curious to seek out other movies she's been in.

I’m partial to that cast so I’ll have to watch it.

Was William Hurt ever cuter?

I liked "Slither" (1973). It's silly, but still pretty funny. She and James Caan work well together, and he is very sexy.

R3 Cute isn't the word I'd use. It's possible this is Hurt in his Prime Hotness!

I'd say that would be Body Heat, r5. He's such an innocent in this.

Three great actors. Good stuff, telefilm cinematography notwithstanding.

Wondering if anyone else noticed Scott Rudin billed as Casting Director?

Sweet performances but, jeez, the men's hair was terrible. !944? So many 1978 sideburns and wings over the ears.

Screenplay by Albert Innaurato, no less!

I think this was one of the first things William Hurt did on screen and his charisma just jumps right out at you.
