Did you cook a huge meal?
What did you do for Thanksgiving?

Made a turkey with my partner and got the sides from Whole Foods. The turkey was fine; the sides needed jazzing up.

Beware of trolls and their seemingly innocuous polls.

I had 22 family& neighbors for Thanksgiving dinner. We had fun on Thursday.
We had 3 turkeys cooked (Peking style, Roasted garlic& Herbs, deep-fried)-1 Italian roast chicken(Nigella Lawson recipe)-enough winter vegetables& potatoes- lots of potatoes-fish. My favorite foster mom's grandson was stranded in San Diego, so him and his Army buddy showed up.
It was fun!!

i brought a poinsettia to a family friend's dinner.

Blew my cousin’s next door neighbor. Saved me from having an extra plate of food and about 1300 calories.

I made dressing, Mormon Funeral potatoes, turkey graxy, green bean casserole, and Watergate Salad, and sent it with my best friend for their gathering. They had a smoked pre-cooked whole turkey and a pre-cooked boneless white meat turkey from Sam's Club. At my suggestion, my best friend sliced the boneless turkey into sort of turkey steaks, breaded them and cooked them in an air fryer. He said it turned out really good.
I stayed home with my brother, and we had Chicken Express chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, cream graxy, and fried okra. The dressing made up so much that there was plenty left for us to have with the chicken tenders. (My brother and I don't care for turkey.)

Nobody wants to eat my cooking...so ... Thanksgiving Dinner at the Landmark Tavern at 11th Ave. and 46th St in NYC. It's been there since just after the Civil War and it's in the middle of nowhere. Supposedly haunted by the ghost of George Raft. It's a Thanksgiving tradition for my family but to tell you the truth the food isn't really that great.
