It wasn't so bad at first, but I can't stand the dialogue and characters now. I leave the room when my man watches it.
Is there a show more obnoxious than SHRINKING?

We just started it and like it a lot.
Quibble: Christa Miller has had lots of cosmetic intervention and has a bit of joker mouth, plus it affects her speech at times. I always like her but it’s distracting.

Op I love it. It’s my new favorite show. The shrinks remind me and my coworkers at my old job. It’s a funny show with a heart.

Harrison Ford has been acting for how many years? And he still can't do anything except act like a disgruntled pelican. Always grumpy and unpleasant, no matter what the role calls for.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 is meh. Michael Urie's character is unbearable.

R4 Is there a thread on him? I figured that bitch would be polarizing around these parts lol.

I’ve really been enjoying it.

I’ve read great things about Ford’s performance in this. We are only two eps in.

R7 He’s good. Williams is good. Theyre all good. This is one those shows where the casting can make or break it and the casting simply works here. The writing is elevated. I feel like you have to know these types in any big city USA to truly get the humor.

I watched the first show and hated it and promptly gave up on it. It was trying too hard and there were too many plot holes for the sake of a cute story. There is absolutely nothing real about the characters. And the type of car they have him to drive - ugh. They might as well have given him a big wheel - I get it, struggling manchild….

R9 Care to point out these plot holes?

I disagree, OP. I really like it. Sometimes I need a feel-good show and this is it for me.

I found the Michael Urie character fun (just saw him in one ep so far). His character is supposed to be extra, and it rings true for me.

R9 one that I remember is that he was being chased all over town by an ex of a client or something. It was suppose to be funny. On a whim Jason decides to be a good guy and show up at his kid’s sporting event. He actually had to run there or something g to make it in time. It wasn’t planned. Then during the game the Client EX somehow was able to track him down at a game that just a few minutes before he hadn’t even planned to go to. How in the world would he know?
Anyway, logic was scrapped to make a joke, have a funny moment, and it wasn’t even a good one.

I roll my eyes when I see Christa Miller get a special credit like Harrison Ford. Really?
