Why on earth would she think there would be enough people interested in reading about her life to make a biography a success? People who write biographies are those who are in some way renowned, and renowned Leslie Jones is not.

Jones is a cunt who only gained media attention because of Milo Yiannopoulos and his fanboys.
Jones has a history of whining about various companies and businesses on social media and is probably a Karen type. She trashed a restaurant in Atlanta several years ago saying they go her poor service, but the restaurant claimed that Jones made fun of a waiter's foreign accent. She also claimed that employees at the Ritz Carlton were racist towards her when she stayed there to host the 2017 BET Awards. She never gave details or further context. People who run a Black centric website wanted more details about the incidents and questioned Jones on twitter to give more details on the alleged events. Wendy Williams also wanted more details as well. Williams had an event for her employees scheduled at the Ritz Carlton and was considering cancelling the event and she also asked Jones on twitter to provide more details. Jones never replied to Williams or the other people asking for more details.

Wasn’t she supposedly pissing off comics in LA a couple of years ago by showing up unannounced, expecting to be put on stage right away, and eating into everyone else’s time?

There have been several comedians who aren't high profile, but somehow get book deals. One puzzling example is Cristela Alonzo getting a book deal some years back. Alonzo is blackballed in some parts of the entertainment industry.
