Sorry Cynthia, Demi is getting the Oscar...
Oscar loves nothing more than a late in life revival and Demi is fantastic in The Substance... plus her Hollywood pals ain't gonna vote for Cynthia over her.
Demi will be this year's Brandon Frazier.
Cynthia will clean up all the lesser awards but Demi will get gold.

Demi Moore? Pam Anderson?
Is the 1994 editorial board of US Magazine running the Academy this year?

No I see Demi getting it. The sweeter still as Ashton and wife had to flee the country! Suck it Ashton!

Pam Anderson? There is no way anyone from Baywatch is ever winning an Oscar.

I think Pam will get Best Actress. The academy loves a good comeback story, and she is beyond brilliant in Last Showgirl.
Jamie Lee is a shoe in for a nomination.

A black lesbian who is not conventionally beautiful, to say the least
And she’s extremely touchy on Twitter
Maybe if it were 2021
In 2025, no chance

Pam will never get an oscar

It’s either Pam or Cynthia. Maybe Mikey Madison but I don’t know if the name recognition would play a role.
Angie will get a nomination.
The fifth slot is anyone’s guess.

My God you people are idiots.
Cynthia will win because there are no other actors of color who could conceivably be branded a frontrunner in any other acting category. Therefore, if all white actors won at the expense of a year when Cynthia Erivo is on top of the world with Wicked, all hell will break loose. Everyone in Hollywood knows this.
Award prediction “experts” were certain Lily Gladstone was going to win for Killers of the Flower Moon. Why didn’t it happen? Because Da’vine Joy Randolph became the clear frontrunner for Best Supporting Actress. With one actor of color certain to win one category, Oscar voters felt free to vote for whom they liked the best for Lead Actress, Emma Stone. As long as ONE actor of color wins an Oscar, no one complains and accuses Hollywood of being institutionally racist.
The last time all four Oscar acting winners were white, you know what won Best Picture? “Parasite.” Choosing Parasite was the Academy’s Get Out of Jail free card on the racism question. “1917” was expected to win.

Demi Moore is never getting an Oscar for that piece of shit. Was it a "brave" performance? Maybe. Was it any good? No.

Demi’s movie was stupid

Has anybody seen Last Showgirl? I’ve read some ghastly reviews overall, and they weren’t exactly heaping praise on Pam’s performance. Does it even rise to the level of BA Oscar nomination?

Demi will be nominated, but she won't win.
