If anybody ever made ‘em an offer, they refused.
Does look like crime paid for a while, though.

OP, that was actually fascinating to see. Grew up in Chicago, so my fascination with all things “mob” is stronger as I read more and more. I am *shocked* the Feds didn’t remove that safe?!? The only thing I can think of is that it was left open so they knew it was already empty — that would be the sole reason they would leave a safe behind in that house.
On an aesthetic note, of course he had an all-black bathroom LOLOL. I get that was his alone, the wife had her own, because most women could not do hair/make-up in an all black bath.
I find it curious that no one ever bought it to give tours or make money off of it somehow? Not even other mobsters yo protect his privacy? Idk. I just read a book on “Gaspipe”, one of his homies, and if memory serves, his house sits empty as well. Now that Trump won, I expect to see mob-activity to surge again. The mob may come back stronger than ever, though this time they will likely be Russian/Ukrainian and not necessarily Italians. Crazy crazy times we are living through.

Now I have to google all about what ever became of Victoria and her sons. I remember their silly reality show and thought I recognized that tacky mansion.

Even though this Gaudy house is a former Gotti house, looking at those pics made me sad.

What are Victoria’s sons up to, anyone know?

Tasteful Friends of Ours

Is it just me or are those ceilings incredibly low? Claustrophobically low.
I assume the Feds own this now. Why haven't they auctioned it off?

Trump probably halted the auction in his first term and will give it back to the Gottis in his second term. You know he’s mobbed up.

They need to stage it by putting back the huge potted planter that Bette Davis pushed over the ledge onto Olivia de Havilland and Joseph Cotten standing below.

I felt so in-the-know, R5, when in Donnie Brasco Pacino hipped us all to the fact that “a friend of mine” is a person you can’t talk freely around, whereas “a friend of ours” is a fellow wiseguy. Nice, useful nuance there.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
