"Demure" is the '2024 word of the year'
Dictionary.com has demurely declared that 'demure' (the word which has taken over social media) is the 2024 Word of the Year.
Lucky for us, it has surprassed 'unhinged', 'amazing', and yes! 'delusional' - the three words over-used right here on this forum.

The "very demure, very mindful" trend lasted about two weeks, then everyone forgot about it and moved on. Just like "brat" being trendy for about a month.

The Aussies picked “enshittification”. Not on the American list as the country is the living embodiment of it.

First of all, I'm an old bitch. But she didn't use any of those three words correctly. There is nothing in the world demure about her. God love her. But these girls need to get a damn dictionary if they're going to be putting out content.

R14 Think of their audience. Do you really believe those people following her know any better ?
