Anyone who has been a teenage goth does (or damn well should) know them. Peter Murphy has possibly the sexiest singing voice I've ever heard in my life—deep, rich, and booming. He has always been rather thin and androgynous looking, so you don't necessarily expect it.
Let's discuss Bauhaus (the gothic rock band, not the art school)

Bela Lugosi Is Dead is the perfect song for the beginning of The Hunger.

Loved, loved, LOVED them as a teen. So stylish. Other than "Bela Lugosi's Dead," my other faves were "Dark Entries," and the sleeker/more polished "She's In Parties."

The version of "Bela Legosi's Dead" by gay Until December in 1986 is better.

One of my favorite bands ever. I love "Who Killed Mr. Moonlight." It's a shame that Peter Murphy has had so many issues in recent years.

Bela Lugosi's Dead is still one of the best songs in the history of modern music.
And a perfect song for Halloween.

Can't we discuss the art school instead? I visited Villa Tugendhat in Brno earlier this month, built by Mies van der Rohe (the last director of the Bauhaus), and it was a life-changing experience. Walking into the famous glass room gave me chills...What a spectacular building!
