You forgot a lot of ‘84, ‘85, ‘87. Breakin’2, Sixteen Candles, Karate Kid, Footloose, Revenge of the Nerds, Goonies, St. Elmo’s Fire, The Last Dragon, Dirty Dancing..I still have half the posters on my wall!

1998 and 1999 were the last gasps of the genre. "Not Another Teen Movie" came out a few years later and became the genre's swan song.
